    Yes! After Guybrush says "Look behind you, a three-headed monkey!", Lila says: "You can't fool us. There aren't any monkeys here. This is Monkey Island!" What a strange line. But it sounds like the developers know that there is a lack of monkeys. It seems intentional.

    I just played a little bit of Monkey1, just strolling through Mêlée town. I must say, it’s pretty chilling walking through High Street now. 😨

    It's not them. Take a look at the Monkey 1 box. They hint at themes everywhere! Did you take a look at that locked cupboard in LeChucks galley? Guybrush gets more and more excited that there must be something horrible behind it, because it is locked so well. The chef then says that its locked because the door keeps opening on it’s own. And Guybrush is disappointed by that unexciting answer. It was better when he didn't know the reason.

    Could be, that's the thing. I don't see this as actual foreshadowing, but another element for everyone's internal "canon" to form. It's great!

    HEY! Finishing Return, it blew my mind to see Stan being a constructor of "Adventure Parks". I never saw that coming. There was no hint at this anywhere in the whole series. Right? Wait, hold on.

    I'm a little confused by these early lines, when the "parents" look at the parrot. It is a perfect reflection of our own thoughts. But I keep thinking why are they surprised by this parrot? Are there no parrots in "real life"? Also, it's the same parrot the locksmith has in her store. Anyone else wondered about this? Am I overthinking? Whatever it is, I am excited to be majorly puzzled again.

    I only played it once, so my memory might be fuzzy: I like that in Return, nobody actually wonders what the Secret is. Right? Guybrush and LeChuck just want it. Or do I remember it wrong? Anyway, I really enjoyed that stubbornness of the two. They are so fixated on the goal that they lost themselves.

    Haha, that is awkward. Right! I didn't notice that the first time I played. Jake showed me a screenshot afterwards, when it was still in Big Whoop mode, and I wrote back "Hold on! What is this! Your playthrough looks different!". What a great element.

    Hello! I finished the game last night, had the classic "Huh.", and then warmed up to it. Then I went to bed. And this morning, my partner asked me about the ending, so I told her what happened. And I talked and talked, tried to explain what was going on, which I couldn't, but I kept talking in excitement, and the longer I talked the more tears where flowing. Really!? Stupid game makes me cry and I don't no why? I wasn't able to explain really what was going on, but I felt this strong warmth from this game. The letter really hit my heart. Can't even make sense of all these feelings while writing you this. And I love it. I already miss the game, and I want to replay it immediately.
