  1. Add something else I need to play. :)

  2. DS3 has downloadable Content. Nope not going back until after I finish TOR once. Played a little Skyrim last night. Think I'm going to forgo everything else and just finish the main quest before I forget everything about this character.

Up to level 39 on TOR.

  3. Last place with 1,766 votes...Compared to Ron Paul's 56,848. Perry loses to the Paul with only like 3% of the votes Paul got. I really wish Perry would get the Republican Nomination. :D

It is a fact, neither Paul or Perry could win the Presidency. Of course, I may have said the same thing about Bush and you see where that got us.

I've tried not to misuse the moderator power Darth333 and others have place on me, but so help me if I could find where I left my ban keys you would be so gone. :)

  5. 15.00 a month seems to be the sticking point for many. Why should I have to pay a fee for a game I already paid for? Well the fact that I pay 60 bucks for DA2 and play it for 60 to 70 hours or TOR which I have not even finished 1/2 of it and already logged in over 96 hours into, show me the cost may actually be more cost efficient for TOR than a normal RPG.

  6. I was repulsed by the fact TOR would be a MMO. I wanted nothing to do with it and cursed both BioWare and Lucas Arts for the even considering such an abomination. However I slowly came to realize that my opinion was for naught when it comes to Lucas Arts decision to go with a MMO instead of a RPG. I also came to the realization that my hatred of MMOs had nothing to do with personal experience since I had never touched one. I don't know if TOR is the norm for MMOs, but the experience isn't that different from a RPG to me thus far. I understand that story driven MMOs are not the norm, but that is what The Old Republic is. Other than waiting for respawns at times, seeing other player characters running around and being able to ask friends for help, it isn't that different from a RPG.

  7. So in other words you haven't really played it, but you know it isn't great...Got it. :)

  8. Pretty sure BestBuy or another retal chain would be willing to sell you the The Old Republic. :) (jk)

  9. What server are you on in TOR? I'm on a few maybe we can do a flashpoint.

  10. Rush Limbaugh said today on the radio that he had talked to Rick Perry and Rick Perry was not an idiot. Mr. Limbaugh I have spoken to Mr. Perry twice in my life and I assure you that he is. My only conclusion can be that if you are impress with Mr. Perry's intelligence then you sir are a even bigger idiot.

Not like we didn't know that already. :)

  11. Never could kill Darth MiniMax or whatever her name was. It was a side quest so I skipped that and will come back after I level up.

I tuned off TOR last night, but instead of starting up Skyrim I went Deathclaw hunting. :)

  12. Loving it 95% of the time, but that other 5% makes me turn it off from time to time. Although I think it has more to do with my class and not the game itself. Just get frustrated at times playing as a healer. Still the satisfaction I get from finally completing a difficult part keeps me coming back for more. Healer sometime forces me to grind, which I hate, because there is no way for me to take elite enemies more than a level above mine. I absolutely have to stay within the recommendations or I’m toast. Next character will defiantly be DPS. Never played a game using the style of a healer and it is definitely different. As much as I would love to continue the story as fast as possible, I just have to be patient and enjoy the ride.

Level 35 and completed the planet, but going to hang around kill and scan stuff until I get to level 36, which is what the next planet says.

  13. In the Daedric Lord Quest, did someone come up to you in a Inn?

If so, I've done that one. :)

  14. For those I would forget my no mod rule.

  15. Many more nights like last night I may be back to Skyrim sooner rather than later. Overall the game is fairly balanced for the different classes. There are certain advantages to being a smuggler that can be taken advantage of in a battle. There are certain advantages to being a healer too. It may take me longer to kill a boss, but I can do it with planning and patience. However, from time to time you come upon a boss that either is immune to those advantages and/or has the advantage of cancelling those advantages. Then you also can come upon one that can do both. Found my second one last night. They are usually highly rated sith lords.

I really wished they would give you an idea what you are up against before you start a quest. They describe it as a suicide mission in the dialogue, but they do the same thing if they send you off to kill a couple kath hounds. Now I’ve invested a hour or so jumping through hoops only to be denied the prize.

  16. Pretty sure there are no cheats in a MMO, but I do believe Lynk hacked the system or something because he wins all the conversation rolls.

I'm really enjoying TOR as far as the storyline and quests go, even like going into battle with guild members to kill world bosses. Space battles are very bland, but not that bad for a diversion from the normal quest. The one thing I despise is crew skills, just a way to bleed you of credit in a mundane time consuming, button mashing way. I have no problem with the cost, the required inventory space or even the scanning, The crew interrupting a battle every 3 to 5 mins is really annoying.

As much as I have enjoyed TOR, I’m not inclined to consider another MMO ever. 90% of what I love about TOR comes from playing with people from the forum and it being Star Wars. Without either of those parts a MMO is not for me. Well maybe a Mass Effect MMO, but that is another story. :)

  17. I had a little TOR adventure this weekend. Got my PC stuck between some boulders. Totally my fault, took the wrong route for the 100th time and tried to take a short cut that wasn’t designed to be a short cut. Couldn’t fast travel because it said I was moving (falling I guess) and there is no way to commit toon suicide. Found the stuck button...

Not an improvement as you can see. Logging off and on a few times was no help. By this time I am getting really scared that I’m about to lose a level 30 character. Hit the stuck button over and over… Was about to contact technical support when I tried the stuck button on last time…I was standing. Thought of taking another screen shot for a split second, but out of desperate fear hit quick travel instead. Did happy dance and thanked the maker, in this case BioWare. ;)

  18. It is different form ME, nothing like Skyrim or Oblivion, but still I'm able to make unique enough characters to be happy. Body size, scares, make up are all part of it. Depending on species, so can be tied together which is frustrating (and the reason my main PC is a Twi’lek or a Miraluka).

The video explains the character better than I can. The video is of the beta, but all I’ve noticed that now each category just seems to have more options now.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzsD2iO918U. It is also spolier free, unless you consider class and species spoliers. :)

  19. 62 hours and level 27. I going to get this character up to level 50 (in TOR) and then I'm going to finish Skyrim.

I just want to get this character to 50 first in case someone in the guild need a healer for group stuff.

  20. No games at all last night. High school friends in town for the holidays, went to eat and watch the Texas bowl game. Ended up getting home after 1:00 am drunk, but had a blast.

  21. The mage quests were fairly fun, no clue about the dark brotherhood or thieves guild.

  22. Hit a part in TOR that was giving me hell. Tried and died at least 8 times to get past it. 3 strong enemies, one would always come after me meaning I was unable to heal my Wookiee tank. The Wookiee would die and leave me with 2 against 1.

I left sought repairs and came back again. A group of two must have been having trouble with the same section, saw me healing my Wookiee and decided to invite me to their group. However, now I was taking the multiple deaths personal so I refused their help. I went back in and defeated the 3. I’m too stubborn for my own good sometimes. I do have the self-satisfaction of knowing I did it on my own.

I still feel kind of bad for not helping them, but pretty sure the only reason I was invited was because my character is a healer.

  23. Wow, Dragon fighting Dragon. Between you and stoffe, I really need to get back to Skyrim.

  24. Playing as a healer is a little bit of a pain. Many of the fights I never fire a shot, but just spend all my time healing my companion. This works really well against almost any single or multiple enemies, at least until you get to a fight with 3 or more high end NPC. Then usually one decides to come after me. I forget how much I really hate dying in games until it take 3 or more attempts to take out a boss and his/her minions. The revive in TOR is really easy, time limit dependent on length since last death/deaths, then either a medical probe revives you and the companion or takes you to the nearest medical station, but when the wait before you can call for revival become 3 mins or more I give up. Level 25, half way to the current TOR cap, the rest of my characters will not be healers.
