edlib Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 Yeah,.. trust me,.. I know. Now that I'm living spitting-distance from the water I actually have to pay close attention to such things. I'm glad I took out the flood insurance this year... might actually be needing it. (Although I really hope not!) But one good storm-surge is going to ruin my basement. If it's a direct hit, this neighborhood will most likely be evacuated. Time to grab the cats and the guitars and head to the relative's place inland. Either way, I'll have to spend one day this week getting the outdoor furnature secured and the air-conditioners out of the windows. Fun fun... PS -- And if I have to hold on to something when the wall-of-water hits, why couldn't it be Ms. Portman?
