Padme's Fate

Well...TFN...as reliable as they are known to be posted these spoilers....

TFN Spoilers Website Content

Padme does indeed die in the film. She dies while giving birth to Luke and Leia. Leia's reference to her beautiful mother is probably Queen Organa of Aldeeran.

d as for Padme dying giving birth, this also we belive is accurate ... from a certain point of view. Somebody else injures her, if you've read previous SPY REPORTS you'll know who we're taking about and she dies as a result of those injuries. She finally succumbs to those injuries while giving birth. The birthing process itself does not kill her. Maybe the "clinical environment" mentioned in tonight's Behind the Helmet pic will give you an idea of where she is taken to deliver and then die.

We're also still not sure of the exact motives in the death of Padme. Something there still isn't adding up but again they've filmed different versions of the same stuff, so who knows. And also keep in mind that Darth Blight reminds us that the full script is indeed still a "work in progress"; the script that the actors had seen was current as of that day in relation to their work

Obi-Wan was sent to the new planet to "break up" a meeting of the Separatists at the location. Padme also has tracked down Anakin there. When she finds Anakin, he has already dispatched all the Seperatist leaders.

She is still not full term yet in her pregnancy. Anakin only believes she is pregnant with one child.

Anakin force-chokes Padme and throws her aside as Obi-Wan ignites his saber and the duel begins.

When the twins are born, it is not due to Padme going into labor, but out of necessity to rescue them from her before she passes.

The twins are born on a brand new never-before seen world.

What do you guys think?

And the behind the helmet pic was a picture of the outside of the Palpatines office "foreground awaiting new clinical environment" done by computers

Oh and also there is a scene on the web cam shot a month ago that looked like a funeral of sorts and most guessed that the people holding the "coufin" looked like padme's handmaids. But it was really hard to tell with their black cloaks on

i read yesterday that GL hasn't made his mind up about this yet and that two versions were filmed.

it will be sad if padme dies aswell, theres already ALOT of death in film.

also i can't see anakin force-choking a pregnant padme, i mean thats abit much even for the guy thats soon-to-be darth vader

like all spoilers and rumors, we'll just have to wait and see.

i personally do not like the whole Anakin being a woman abuser scenerio. But let's face it, He let the emperor try and kill his own son and almost did it himself! I always thought Padme commited suicide...and now we have this whole domestic violence rumor going around. It would be cool though to have this start the duel, which is why Obi Won didn't hide the twins (he was too busy kickin Ani's ass) and Why Anakin has no idea that he had twins! He didn't see their birth and why he didn't scour the entire galaxy for them. He thought they died along with Padme. It would tie a lot of things together - except that Leia remembers her mother was sad...its so confusing.

Maybe Padme doesn't really die. Maybe Anakin "Thinks" he killed her? And she is hidden off on Alderon with Leia. Padme actually survives. Just hopin..

my original theory was that dooku tries to kill padme but only kills another one of her decoys. palpatine advises that the word should be spread that dooku suceeded in killing padme and she is dead.. for her protection.

word reaches anakin and, thinking that this is true, he seeks revenge. obi-wan, who is somewhere else, hears too and guesses what anakin will do. he gets to anakin just as he disarmes dooku and then preceeds to execute him.

anakin blames obi-wan, as he usually does, things get heated and then the fighting starts.

now of course i know that couldn't be as dooku dies within the first 10 minutes of the film.

but i still think that anakin could be somehow tricked into thinking padme is dead and thats what finally pushes him over the edge.

an excellent guess Siv, I have been wondering what it would take to push Anakin over the edge, and seeing how he reacted at his mother's death only has me thinking that if he did believe that Padme passed away he'd snap
