lukeiamyourdad
arggggggghhhhhhhhh! I have to do a poem for my english class and I'm currently out of any inspiration. My last poem was refused due to use of foul language... God I need a good subject to write about!
Boba Rhett
I know! Write one about me. Well, if you don't mind cheesing teachers off, write a technically proficient poem about how you're forced to do futile, time filler assignments at school. T'was how I did it. Write a poem about you w/o using explitives...I'd like to see that! j/k You could write some abstract poem that makes no sence and just say it represents man's internal struggle to know the meaning of life. Or you just write about birds or bees...or birds and bees!
Sivy
go for the strange/ odd poem that means absolutely nothing but can be interpreted in many ways like this one.. THE BOOK The book came alive, wept, dragged him in, Pointing out its sorrow - the book let him sleep on its pages, Caressed his hair, mothered him, The Book opened out its wings and let him fly. When he emerged at last, ruffle-haired from what seemed like sleep, He disowned the book, and they were divorced - But the Book's memory stayed with him, Still does, Though he never talked about it again. you see, nonsense, but the sort of thing teachers love. (btw i didn't write that)

lukeiamyourdad
Writing something about the force is fun but I'll really look like a loser...no offense to anyone...'cause I still love star wars but not to the point of writing a poem about it. The pointless topic seems nice...hmmm... Thanks to everyone who replied up to now!
another_trooper
You should write one about not knowing what to write. . . Just tell that your short on imagination in a poetic way with a couple of crappy rhymes and voila! a work of art !

Crazy_dog no.3
You could re-write your old poem, replacing profanity waith words like blankety-blank, bleep, blank-blank, etc.
Darth Homer
Roses are red Violets are blue I'm schizophrenic and so am I That's the best I can come up with (and I actually heard that somewhere else...it's not plagarism...it's just taking someone else's words and passing them off as my own, that's all).
