Troopr-Undr-Fir
Has Anyone here read Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, Well I'm reading it for my composition class, and I couldn't go to school on Friday becuase of having to take my dog to the vet for eating some left over ham in the trash . And I had to catch up last night, so I sat down and started reading, and I almost barfed when you get to the part with the little chidren touching each other...I had visions of MJ again *shutters*. All I wanna know is if the book continues this way, so I can keep a pale next to me And oh, do you know of any other books with these types of things so I can stay clear of them? Alia
If a book can seriously make you that sick, maybe you should see a doctor.
Kain
That book was SOOOOOO boring... And the reason the kids are doing that is because they are ENCOURAGED too (sick bastards) in that world. Sex is a thing done for fun, not out of love...kinda like the way it is today. But still, that book was sick...

Darth Eggplant
catcher in the rye a seperate piece brave new world are books schools use, they did back when i went to school you have to realize of course a lot of what sc-fi writers write is a direct reflection of how they personally feel our society is like, or heading to; so if i makes you sick you have to hate the world you are living in, read the books, see that our future needs to be brighter; then you have to go out there and try as hard as you can to make it so, and to keep an authors vision of hear, now and what might be from happening

Darth Eggplant
ya i read catcher never did like it much myself, Salinger wrote like one book and then sat back and made a name for himself as a one hit novelist wonder. i forget tons of what went on in brave new world; you got to remeber theses guys who wrote them did so in a completely different world then us today. but if your complaining about this book, i hope they never make you read naked lunch, or any of Millers Nexus, PLexus, da Hexus books, or topic of cancer tropic of capricorn. you want two good old books to read 3 actually frankenstein by mary shelly jane eire (on of the brontes cant rememer which) moby dick also try reading lewis carrol's 2 alice books gullivers travels pinochio (book not movie) there are lots of books out there that are still good and if pedo action or creepy sex stuff creeps you out stay away from Heinlein, sounds like your grandma talking dirty to you. heinleins moon is a harsh mistress and starship troopers (are the only two from him i like)
