RoxStar
You would need to work with very fine brush tips and at about 1000 times zoom to be able to get close to that with a standard mouse on MS-Paint.
IG-64
why don't you just... do it on paper? It's the same thing

In fact, most of my art starts on paper, then I scan it in and modify it to my needs. But this thread is about MS Paint...and I was just trying to illustrate what is achievable with the right tools in a comparatively short time. A lot of people seem to believe MS Paint is very simplistic and not capable of anything except precise pixel art. This is obviously not the case. Pick up a cheap graphics tablet (£30-£50) and you can achieve a great deal... Anyway...I'll work on another pic using only a mouse, and see what I can come up with. It's not impossible (though it is difficult), because I used to draw with a mouse a long time ago in a program called Deluxe Paint.

However, it has to be better than the £250 I paid for my Wacom. Anyway, true to my word, here is a pic I drew on Deluxe Paint about 15 years ago, using a mouse... Crappy, I know. And here is one that I painted just now...took me about 1 hour... If I gave it a little more time, it would look a lot better. But I can't be bothered at the moment... Apologies for the large size, but I made it at 1024x768, and compressed it by 50% already.

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, but I let it slide for a long time. I've only got back into my art in the past few years, really, and I'm improving all the time. You can view some of my other artwork (tip of the iceberg) if you click on the Imagination Unbound link in my sig.
