Stuck on Rebel Strike; Yoda Swamp

The Count

Recommended Posts

I've basically completed Rebel Strike now however one level I just can't complete; That damn Swamp training mission I cannot raise the X Wing from the swamp I press the B button rapidly but it still doesn't come up and I fail the mission; does anyone have any tactics to pass this part of the level?

I have a turbo controller, and it does work really good. If not, just put your shirt over B and roll something over it I guess. I'm still on like the 5th mission. >_<

I rented Rebel Strike once, and I'm glad I only rented it. It's one of those games where it's fun to rent, but is much too short to buy. The flight missions are excellent as usual, but they're all rushed, as there's always something you have to protect or destroy in a very short period of time. I prefer the original Rogue Squadron missions where you could linger over an Imperial base and destroy every building and Tie around. Moreover, the on-foot portions leave much to be desired. Anyone who's played the JK series will be sorely disappointed, as it's basically a Rambo-esque charge-ahead-and-shoot-from-a-rapid-fire-blaster-pistol-that-never-runs-out-of-ammo-while-dealing-with-a-dodgy-camera experience.

I'm not that much of a perfectionist, so I usually don't shoot for gold medals that much. (the bonus missions always seem to disappoint me in the series anyway) However, I did beat the game and unlocked three bonus levels when I rented it. I also unlocked two of the old Star Wars arcade games.

As for help button mashing...well, I didn't have much trouble, being a Mario Party veteran. Just do what Qui-Gon says and "Feel, don't think." If you think too much on what you're doing, your muscles start acting all goofy.
