DejivenShields
I have 127Ram(Sad..but true) left, and I need 128Ram. I cleared out all my stuff i don' use, and trashed stuff I do use. And, still, nothing. Also, when I try to play it anyways, I get this; " GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem ". I don't know what this means, or how to fix it. Anyone..help? Mex
Well here are the basic options of what to do : Get more Ram, update your drivers. Update your drivers. Get a new graphics card and Ram. Those are all the options that I can think of. Sorry
Bilbo Skywalker
you could try using ram idle http://www.webmasterfree.com/ramidle.html you may be able to squeeze some more ram with that.. and updating your graphics card drivers should fix the open GL error. DejivenShields
I wish that ramidle worked. All it did was open the system window, and did its thing, then it come up, "The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. And numbers. I pressed ignore, and ignore and ignore, and then it closed itselfs. The title of the window is "16bit MS-DOS Subsystem".
acdcfanbill
make absolutely sure you have the latest drivers for you video card, if that doesnt fix it, you will probably need a newer video card to play teh game. the included information should give you a list of all supported video card chipsets. Crow_Nest
Your graphic card and processor needs to be 100% OpenGL 1.4 or higher compitible.
Andy867
Actually, a video card can be 1.3 OpenGL compliant and still run Jedi Academy, but 1.4 provides for better support and performance, and thats what JA was optimized for. But definitely update your ram to at least 512Mb (ram is really cheap at http://www.pricewatch.com) and just update your video drivers.
Alegis
I'm not wise in hardware problems and all that, but when I had that error in JO I reinstalled opengl (.com) and it worked fine
