Reaper Girl
Wheeee! I did something very, very STUPID. I've been downloading demos. Games are banned in my household. They are the avatars of evil and all things anti-scholastic. This, yes, is mostly my own fault, however, even in times of peace games are denied passage. I downloaded everything I've missed these years...Oddworld demos, JP:OG demos, Star Wars games demos, GhostMaster demo... until... God...godgodgodgodGOD! I have met, in my demo downloading, a very interesting character. I think I found my new Monkey Island. Razeil has devoured my soul. I have discovered...SOUL REAVER! Its hard to get so excited over a dark game...but this I just enjoy beyond description...with human words, anyway...njknmvd5g.. Is the whole thing worth pursuing? Fans? Questions? Comments? *runs off, glides away*
Guybrush122
Personally, I was never a big fan of Soul Reaver. Didn't like the gameply, concept, or idea. And the main character, aside from a seriously cool name, didn't seem to have much developement in my eyes. At anyrate, I felt (after playing the demo some years back) like I wasn't being fair. I played it at a friends house and it seemed rather bland to me, still. But the way I see it, if you love the demo so much in the areas I didn't...you'll love the game. Couldn't possibly cost all that much either, could it? And most retailers have that whole "played it? return it!" deal. Happy hunting!

Alien426
There will be a special edition of Legacy Of Kain: Defiance which includes part 1 and 2, and it will cost the same as the standard edition. I wasn't able to find the PC version for sale, although Eidos' web site says there will be one. I saw a trailer on a magazine's DVD and it looked pretty neat. It said that reviewers thought Defiance was the best of the series, which means little to me since I haven't played any of them.

All I remember is it being very confusing and there's a pool somewhere in the middle of the starting room. And yes, everyone deserves cheapness after certain games. For instance, after beating Zelda: Ocarana of Time (and after crying that it was ove), I bought Tribes 2. Now THAT's quality action gaming right there. Too bad the modding community destroyed everything that was good about the game.
Alien426
The edition that includes the 2 predecessors (different franchises of the Legacy Of Kain series: Blood Omen 2 and Soul Reaver 2) is a Germany-only thingie - click.
Yufster
I loved soul reaver. I loved the idea of two separate worlds that run side by side. I loved the concept. I loved the world itself and the way you could be good or evil. I loved the atmosphere. I thought the story left a bit to be desired, but hey! There are other Soul Reaver games that explain a lot more of the story and also one for the PC that's a bit old now. That explains how Kain double crossed them all I think. I love it
