chay80 Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 ...playing a LS consular much more difficult then a DS consular? Offensive spells are almost impossible because they are DS spells that have waaaay too high power cost as LS. So what, stand back and cast only buff and stun type spells? Throw my lightsaber around like a glowing boomerang? LOL
lukeiamyourdad Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 There's also force wave you know...It's actually better then most DS powers. It's VERY cost efficient.

HertogJan Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 Yeah on my playtrough as a LS Consular I discovered how very very usefull wave is... It's effective against droids AND normal enemies, does a lot of damage and stuns them too

You are a light side Force Master. Your goal is to maintain balance and harmony through channeling positive aspects of the force. You try to heal and protect yourself, and disable your enemies without need to kill ... or at least soften them up for an easy chop from your henchmen ... errm ... fellow party members Mike
narfblat Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 Destroy droid is useful, especially at the end of the game. Use it to free the souls of the mostly dead jedi from the star forge stasis so Malak can't use drain on them. Stun/disable may also work.

Agree - you'll need either lightsaber throw or destroy droid to do that as a lightsider. Personally I found destroy droid useful anywhere ... there are droids Mike
Prime Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 Originally posted by lukeiamyourdad There's also force wave you know...It's actually better then most DS powers. It's VERY cost efficient. Ah Force Wave. Use it. Love it.
Cabwi Desco Posted March 4, 2004 Posted March 4, 2004 yup i like to let a large group try to mob me and then i let loose the force wave
Codja X Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 Originally posted by narfblat Destroy droid is useful, especially at the end of the game. Stun/disable may also work. you can use force breach as well - this also fully replenishes you force! darkside you can use force grip, but this does nothing for your force meter
{Sith}-Guyver3 Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 i find force wave most useful when yiou use the stealth unit and walk to the middle of a large group and send em packing with a blindsided wave
dark jedi 8 Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 force wave is the ultimate power! kills anything, anytime. LS consular is pretty easy. the only powers you need are heal, wave, and maybe mind trick. on darkside, thats when you can have fun w/drain, lightning, kill. mind trick is really a better dark side power than light. a must have as well for DS.
Camcarneyar Posted April 2, 2004 Posted April 2, 2004 At the end of the day though, who really wants to play LS, the DS is true power, embrace it.
Poggle Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 Light side consulars while inly really having force wave and throw sabre to kill stuff can have star forge robes and the circlet of saresh giving a stupid amount of force points which simply aren't availible when DS which goes someway to making up for the lack of offensive force powers.
dark jedi 8 Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 but if you have a rediculous amount of force points then the LS consular could also have force storm and death field. thats if your not trying to go complete "light" side.
Poggle Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 true i do tend to stick with only LS or neutral powers dunno why? i might try that next time though
