ckcsaber
It's playoff time again, in the NBA and NHL, but I don't really care about the NHL playoffs because no SoCal teams are in it. So we move on to the NBA playoffs. Who do you think will pwn this year? I have my bets on the Lakers, for obvious reasons, and the fact that they are the only SoCal team worth mentioning. DEATH TO SACREMENTO!! I have a bad feeling about Dallas again, as they finished off the season terribly, and will probably do bad in the playoffs the same as last year. The T-Wolves are the X-Factor. They can either OWN everyone, or just die in the first round like the past 7 years. Then there's the East which will come down to Indiana, Detroit, or New jersey in that order. I hope Detroit makes it to the finals, but with the East, you never know. What do you think?

You have no SoCal teams but the Sharks are in it and they could go on a good run... just as long as they don't face the Avs in the second round. Plus, the NHL is much cooler then the NBA. Clemme w/Stick
Havent been following the NBA for some years now. Mostly because I have no chance of following the games, and secondly because I'm too lazy to check up on NBA.com. Of the teams mentioned I think we'll see Lakers vs. New Jersey in the finals. -Clemme
Joe©
What about the defending champs? San Antonio spurs are having a great year and just got of a 12 game wining streak and pummeled the grizzles on Friday. They have a good record against LA, T-wolves and the kings the Lakers are a OK team but they are very dirty, shaq can do what ever he wants and get away with it, because he?s big. And GP can bad mouth people with out getting a tech, the have the favor of Refs and that wins them as many games as there skill does. Yes a Ref can make a bad call but not that many in a row. The spurs also peak at the right time while other teams are still running hot and cold. The point Spurs own and that?s the it has to be.

Prime
Originally posted by Bacta Boy What about the defending champs? Indeed. The Spurs should not be underestimated. Nasterovic's numbers are as good or better as Robinson's were last year, and they have added some other solid pieces. Not only that, but the core group has another year together and has improved individually, like Parker and Ginobli. They match up pretty well with all the top teams... Mike Windu
I'd love for our home team to go to the playoffs. Memphis Grizzlies! Huah! But, that probably won't happen. Then again, the panthers got to the superbowl this year. I didn't expect my favorite team to go. Life's full of wonderful surprises, till that damned kicker from The Pats got lucky as hell. I vote for the T wolves after Memphis gets knocked out.
ckcsaber
Bah!! If the Spurs make it to the finals it will be another NBA season ending on a pitiful fart. Screw San Antonio, bane of Texas!
