I don't now if this as been done but can some one make darth maul's dualbladed lightsaber if it hasen't been done can any one do it please

 

by the way is it possible do create a dualbladed long saber, you now kinda like malaks but dualbladed ??

We cannot create new lightsaber models as of yet, probably has to do with the blade animations, but... I would also love to see the double Malaks and Mauls sabers as well, when it is possible. :D

Just googled kotor mods other day and found this!!

Been gettin loadsa stuff off ere :D could spend hourd lookin..

Just wondering is there any chance of some1 putting and extra character in the party so u can like ave 4 ppl instead of 3 !?

would it be too hard, not sure neway giz a shout if ne1 fancies havin a go :D would be nice!!

Its been a long while since I've been here. I was wondering if a mod could be made so that a recruitable Komari Vosa could be put int oteh game. For those of you who don't know, Komari Vosa was the main villain to the Star Wars : Bounty Hunter video game. Regardless, I think it would be really cool to get to use her in the group. I'm pretty sure this can be done, as I've seen other similar mods. However, I have absolutely no idea how to do it myself. So, in short, I would like for anyone to make a mod allowing Komari Vosa to be recruited.

I have four requests, preferably as separate mods as they address separate issues. They involve scripting more than graphics, but the .Net installation is too large a download on a flaky dial-up connection. I have no idea if any of these are even possible, although I hope that those which are possible would be relatively easy to do once the relevant scripts to edit were located.

 

1) There is a bug in the default Jedi Robes - they use a defence bonus rather than an armor value, and the bonus reaches a stacking limit with Knight speed, Force Armor, and certain feats. To correct this, is it possible to change the existing robes so that they all give the same defence value, but as an armour rating rather than a defence bonus? The trick may be to do this without causing the robes to require armor use feats to equip them.

 

2) Is it possible to change the times to beat in swoop racing? Ideally, the new script would refer to the difficulty level - unchanged on hard, -0.5 seconds on normal, -1.0 seconds on easy. IIRC, that would be enough to get most people through the Swoop races on Tatooine and Manaan. If referring to the gameplay difficulty level is not possible, then just subtract the full second, on the assumption that those of us who want this are heartily sick of the entire minigame. Additionally, if the code to take .25 seconds (or whatever it is) on Taris could be altered to include a check to see if the time is already at 25 seconds or less, in which case go straight to the second win event, that would save us from having to deliberately do less than our best on the first heat.

 

3) For those of us who loathe the minigames with a passion, is it possible to put in a mod to just skip to the after-minigame win sequence whenever a minigame would normally started? This would involve not just skipping the minigame, but setting whatever flags or variables the computer uses to work out if we won, including setting our last race time in swoop racing.

 

4) Whenever you use the map to return to base, you get healed and poison is removed. Is it possible to also cancel all active force powers at this point to cover situations where force powers get 'stuck' on? If so, the script would also have to be fired on entering the Ebon hawk to cover later in the game.

there is a mod to remove the random turret game , it doesnt remove the scripted ones from the game (Taris , Leviathan and another) but it will make it so you dont have to play any but those three

Ok first of all, I am new to using forums so if I needed to hit new thread instead of reply then tell me so I get it right next time. I would like to see a mod that has a new design of a swoop bike and that the bike has been modified. Can this be done? Is there a way to acces the mdl and other file types to change the properties of the swoopbike?

 

On a side note I am a complete noob to mdding but I am really interested in it. I have looked at most of the post here but I am SO CONFUSED! any one have any ideas on where to start and how to do it?

First decide what you want to do: there are different areas of modding. I suggest you start small in order to get familiar with the tools. Start reading this post here, it should geive you an idea of what you need. Check this thread: Guide for the newbie: how to install mods. /What tools do I need to start modding?

Download KT and microsoft.net and browse through the files. Things will already sound less like chinese once you do this (no offence if there are chinese people but I just can't read chinese).
