What do you think of the great World War 2?

umm.... as to point of this thread

 

 

wwii showed up how powerful certain charismatic men could get with very little resources and i think taught the world how to be more cautious with it's ambitious leaders

Lot (and I mean a lot) of people died, it was sad, glad I didn't have to live through it.

 

Without writing a book that's about all I can say about it.

yeah......nowadays war's way too impersonal and scary

 

i'd much rather fight in wwii than any war today just because the technology didn't fight wars back then and you had to outsmart your enemy

Well, i think it sucked to be in it but it's great stuff for fiction, movies and games, like Medal of Honor, or the aforementioned Saving private Ryan.
