RoyTordesLegend
Aaarrrgghhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bleedin popups!!! I have two PC's (both equally crap), one for home and one for my small business.....now I made the mistake of using my business PC to search out some freeware and I appear to have inadvertently picked up some software which has not only installed itself but has installed something which now gives me loads and loads of pop ups regardless of what sites I'm visiting.....sites which normally have no pop ups (including my own) now have loads.... ...now I'm getting sick - I'm sick of being offered free ringtones - a free 'sex vid', free lottery tickets, free health insurance and other total bollocks..... Anyone know what I can do? I've uninstalled everything I could think of and cleaned the registry and still no good. If this little 'hack' which has attached itself to my system cannot be removed, how about a good freeware popup suppressor - anyone know of one? Zoom Rabbit
I don't want to touch it. I'm afraid... Your problem? I'd buy a new computer, probably one made cheaply in China by a billion people eager to disassemble the american industrial base, take our manufacturing jobs and spin up their own technology so that it can surpass our own. Ray Jones
damnit roy. use firefox. it comes with a popup blocker par excellence. there are also some easy going scripts available to block ad-banners. why use thousand of thousands of thingies if you can have it all in one. and just dont touch everything. wait. there is room for discussion if we talk about girls. I now no longer have urges to buy Viagra online, increase my bust size or claim my top prize of a 'Mercedes, Hi-Fi, $1000 cash or *travel accomodation (*when accompanied by two paying adults on our 'gold' plan)'!
