lukeiamyourdad
Orbital stirkes can be considered a weapon though it's more like an ability. If someone wants to choose that...
StormHammer
I won't know until I can test them all. No...seriously. We simply do not know how powerful or effective some of these weapons are going to be - which is the reason why they need to get the weapon balancing right. So I can't choose a weapon until I know the capabilities of each, and which one best suits my particular play style.
Idei
While some players prefer to play with 'whatever' weapon fits the situation, most experienced players have preferences. The weapons in FPS shooters are fairly standard across the board. The areas where SWBF might push the envelope is centered around vehicles and NPCs. Actual gameplay aside, what I'm asking is, based upon the Star Wars universe, what flavor of weapon fits your play style. Idei

yaebginn
You act as though you corrected me, as if you are innocent. No, you tried to tell me what to do. You are not my superior. and never order unless you are looking into my eyes. You live nowhere near me, so dont order me. You tried to act cynical like you always do and it backfired. Let's not bring this argument into every post. I'll always use the rifle. Except in extreme circumstances. Cause its just perfect. Its faster than the sniper rifle, more powerful than the pistol, its just grea.
fuzzyfreaker
gimme a scoped blaster rifle and a Orbital Strike!!! Goodbye stupid High School!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh, in battlefront. Mountainforest
If the inperial officer is still in the game (he's also a medic, and pilots seem to have taken over that job) he will be able to launch a droid which he can pilot around the battlefield. The droid leaves a marker behind and sounds a short alamrm (I'm not sure about that, and about the visibility of the marker neither). Then the bombardment starts. TK-8252
Damn you, jasper! LOL, I was just about to post that. http://gamesradar.msn.co.uk/features/default.asp?siteid=60§iontypeid=8&subsectionid=1639&pagetypeid=2&articleid=28697&page=3 For the Imperial side, their special unit right now is the Imperial officer. He can heal troops, he can also deploy a probe droid to steer remotely around the battlefield. The cool thing about the probe droid is he can also call in a bombardment from orbit. He can drop off a beacon, and sound a warning, but then that area is pretty much going to be pummelled from space.
joesdomain
My weapon of choice when I use the empire would be whatever they give the Imperial Scout Trooper or Imperial Officer. I will probably try the Tie Fighter Pilot a few times also.
