Ok i must have done something wrong cuz i cant get the robes by cheating. Not sure if im doing it right. I tried to get it at the the beginning of the game so i can fight on the Endar Spire but everytime i put in the code nothing happens. What am i doing wrong?

Did you installed the mod correctly? You need ot extract the files from the .rar file into your override directory. Make sure you don't put them into a subfolder.

Actually Darth333, when i downloaded it it did not come with an actual folder just the file rrr.rar that was like over a 1000 kb. I know how to install mods cuz i have quite a few. and i did put it in my override folder. can u think of anything i did wrong? Is it just putting in the code then looking in your items list? I typed giveitem g_a_mstrrobe55

didnt work. Is there onlly certain places that it works or other mods it doesnt go with?

 

I never saw a readme. Like i said the only thing that it came with was the file rrr.rar I got that from svoshes website where I clicked on the picture to download it. And the rrr.rar wasnt a folder just a file like what u extract from a folder.

If "it" refers to the .rar file, then yes, I can think of something you did wrong. You're supposed to open the .rar file with WinRAR and extract the contents to override.

at first i used cheats to see what they look like on my screen then i got both robes the way you (svosh) intended, oh and btw, LOVE the sandy coloured one, not too keen on the blue

Yah, you'll need a .rar de-compressor program.

You need WinRAR for it, it's a very good program compresses files very well..just download install, then you should be able to click a .rar file and open it.

Its a pain in the butt to go through and try to find the certain files that u want to delete. Im trying to find all those files from that 1 mod that i put in the override and its taking me forever. It doesnt even work, neither does that Weebuls and Uttinis shop.

It should answer your questions and should you have read it, you would have also found the information concerning .rar files .

 

And please stop posting comments like "that retarded mod": they are offending and gratuitous. If you have comments concerning a mod in particular, post them in the appropriate thread and use constructive criticism. Redhawke worked very hard on those mods.

 

Edit: as for Redhawke's mods, the problem is certainly a bad installation as those mods work fine.

And I didnt mean Redhawk is a bad modder I was just mad that I couldnt get those to work. I actually like Redhawks work it just upseted me that I couldnt get those 2 mods to work.

 

By the way the Redemtion Robes and Redhawks Revan/Sith/Bastila Pack dont mix very well. I tried using the blue and tan robes on bastila and Canderous and put Redhawks Revan Robe on me and everytime I go through a loading spot my outfit changes to either the blue or tan robes. They are still cool though, it wouldnt bother me only my character is evil.

 

 

By the way I hear T7 is on the TSL Restoration Project, or I saw your name on one of the mods. Good Luck, I see its coming along nicley.

I'll give you two hints:

 

1) Read the readme. RH is very good at explaining how to install his stuff.

2) Those are both module mods, perhaps read the "How Do I Install Mods" thread, and look for 'module'.

err...T7 is not part of the restoration project. if you saw the name on the download page for the game fixes, it's simply bacause some members here made fixes individually and the restoration team posted them over there. But this is getting off topic as this thread is about svosh's mod.

 

As for combining svosh mod with Redhawke's, you'll likely have to merge the appearance.2da files . Svosh explains how to do this in his readme.

Nope KOTOR fan, that was proper criticism... and I agree with Mono, the problem is on your end.

 

The best solution to your problem, and yes it is your problem alone, would be to actually read the mods readme files and the thread that Darth333 wrote for new modders... and if you are having comprihension problems with that thread, or anyone's readme files, then we can do nothing for you as comprihension problems are still something you have to work on from your end.

 

Lastly, in the future think before you post... bad form KOTOR fan... Bad Form!

@Hawke Your MODS are most certainly NOT retarded.

 

Both mods mentioned by Hawke work perfectly to my knowledge. My KOTOR still has everything KOTOR fan or whatever mentioned along with a TON of others with no conflicts, crashes or the like.

 

I think there was also a "certain point" in which you could gain access to Weebul's shop. I'm not sure cause it's been FOREVER since I did a playthrough but I do know they work regardless.
