Whoopknacker
Dont know about the rest of you but a rebel pilot sticks out like a sore thumb. It is a snipers delight for a guy in a big orange jumpsuit jumping around a green forest or white snow. The suit would only work good for avoiding getting run over by teammates. Are they going to portion the pilots to vechiles. Meaning I want to avoiding camping a launch pad and then make a mad dash for the aircraft to beat the other guy. I would not want to be a pilot on the ground combat at all.
yaebginn
so do the stormtroopers. They stick out like mad. and the piots are meant for flying anyhow.
Thrawn
It won't matter how much they stand out when they're packing a X-wing or a rebel walker:D
JawaJoey
Yeah. They're a pilot, they should be piloting something. Better get to a vehicle quick, because not only do the pilots stick out, but all the other units practically have total Camo. But yeah, even the basic Imperial assault units stick out a whole lot. And if you're one of the people that beleives that the Lava Planet will be the Ep3 planet, than the Pilot will blend in perfect!
LukeKatarn
Exept the pilots are not all Orange(I mean that as in they all wear Orange but they have other colers on their suits.).
SonOdin
Yeah there are red and green, too. I think red are the A-wing pilots and green the B or Y-wing pilots. Hope they are in the game too, and not only the ornage one.
yaebginn
a-wing is green and I dunno the other ones.
fuzzyfreaker
ooh, that would be a problem. yaebginn, i am really worried about those Piots too!
TK-8252
I think that when you're actually in-game, moving around, shooting, killing, advancing, retreating, the pilot isn't at much more of a risk than the other troops. The pilot isn't meant for combat, remember, so he won't be doing the serious fighting where camoflauge is useful. The Imperials have bright white troopers for their infantry, heavy gunner, and scout class, so I don't think that a little orange would do much harm compared to what the Imperials have. Thrawn
I thought the other colors represented what squadron the pilot flew with, not the fighter type?
yaebginn
you may be onto something, but I dont think so. it's possible, but I believe the suit are designed for the fighter's system and size.
Sabretooth
Laugh at the pilot all you want. When he's in a ship/mech, he'll kick your ass bad. Each unit has his own camo, Clones for fear, Stormtroopers for Hoth, Rebels for Yavin 4, and Droids for... um... Droid factories?
JamesNI
Yeah, I think when the pilot is steering an X-Wing up your ass, the last thing you will be concered about is how he sticks out in his bright orange jumpsuit.
yaebginn
rebs for endor and yavin4, imps 4 hoth, clones for maybe inside the halls of kamino? and droids varies cause of the color difference, sbd for outer kamino, rest for geonosia. and a bit of naboo. Yes, they blend with Naboo, and it's Geonosis, no Geonosia. Know what? I've heard Geonosia somewhere before...
Mountainforest
Well he's right about one think. If you are cuuting up a building (somehow the pilot uses a fusioncutter to build structures) snipers can see you from kilometers. If you are working as a medic you are also easely recognized and shot before you can heal somebody. However, It's starwars, so they should wear that suit. Being shot is probably part of the job BTW, you guys don't seriously think there will be different pilots for different vehicles?
Evil Dark Jedi
What if they have different uniforms for different planets because in a screen or a trailer i saw(dont remember which)the the rebel soldier on hoth was wearing a white uniform.
