Datheus
If I may have your attention, please. Philips sucks. Their PSC604 model has been giving me one hell of a time since I bought it. And now I've recently run into THE most frustrating problem of all. Attempting to play most games on my computer causes a 0x0D1 stop error. Do you know what this means, children? It means that the drivers are written in such a fashion that they are faulty. They make my system unstable and often cause it to completely crash. It means that Philips drivers are worth less than a wet bag of pig ****. It's difficult enough finding the latest drivers. It's even worse finding old archives to roll back to. I have at my disposal the drivers on disc and the drivers posted on their website. The more recent ones only seem to make the problem worse. So now--amongst other problems I've had since day once, though I have not enumerated them here--I have this. A conflict on the system level that is COMPLETELY out of my control. Shoot the next Philips CEO you come across on the spot. Thank you for your time.

Tyrion
Mmm, I had a PSC605 and it worked perfectly, heck I only replaced it because I got a motherboard with Soundstorm... I've never had any problems you had. Phillips is actually pretty good in my experience.. Are you sure the drivers aren't corrupted or you had your anti-virus running white installing? Datheus
Yes, believe me. This has been an on-going problem. It's just that I finally got off my fat ass and investigated as to what the hell the problem was. Edit: I'd even say you were lucky. I've heard that people have had the exact same problem with the 605. I couldn't actually find any documentation of this problem with the 604. Yeah, I've got one an it's never given me a problem in the several years I've used it. It also puts out good sound..
