GhostfacedKilla Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 It has been almost confirmed that voice masking might get into the game via the headset (meaning u may say like a stormtrooper or droid when u speak) I got this from a preview via the Game Informer magazine( very cool mag ) Will you guys be using it? On socom 2 there was a similar thing called voice modulation which lowered ure voice......It sucked because hardly anyone could understand ure speech..... I wont use it because i wanna be heard clearly but will u guys use it?
Master William Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Well if I ever decide to use a mic, I'll use 'voice masking'... sounds pretty cool.
VanLingo Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 I voted "No" because... ...Pandemic has stated that voice masking will no longer be in the game.
Xirion Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 heh *buys the new Darth vader voice translator from SWshop*
fuzzyfreaker Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Doesn't Xbox almost always have voice masking? Well, if it's still there, i'll use it.
ImpHater Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 i hope can use voice masking i wanna sound like a clone trooper.
Revlt Coranier Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Some have said it is not available, but if it did happen to be in the game, I'd try it out and hear what it sounds like, and find out if people can understand me. If they can and I like the sound, then sure, I'll use it.
iNfidelity: Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 i doubt i will use it, because i think it gets annoying after awhile

yaebginn Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 maybe, probably not. while it would be cool, itd be harder to distinguish voices, and wastes space.
Mountainforest Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Originally posted by Virtuosis I won't use it, I like my voice. lol I'd like to be understood corectly in the first place.
Doomie Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Not in there? But my own voice sounds like falling crap when it hits the ground...
Jason Fett Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 More than likely I wont, its just kinda stupid...
yaebginn Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 ctually, maybe I will. Cause I mumble aot and often trail off mysentences, it'd be funny to hear a stromtrooper do that.
