Whoopknacker
Im sure that we will find the sys req soon enough. They have not dealt out any info on that yet. Weve only got one month left.
Virtuosis
Yeah we don't know the system requirements. But if you can't play atleast Battlefield 1942 / Vietnam, don't expect to be able to play this game.
Mondo_Man
Just take a look at Doom 3 sys req's...it's probably not much different.

In fact you should just buy those mega AlienWare machines, you know the ones that cost 5,000 bucks. 52 inch plasma screen and Bose surround sound, it will only be hmm lets see 12,000 bucks by the time youre done. No one really knows except LucasArts and theyre not telling yet. Likely they are still testing it.
RoxStar
Originally posted by Mondo_Man Just take a look at Doom 3 sys req's...it's probably not much different. But you forget, This game runs on a PS2 as well, not just PC and XBOX. Thats not gonna be as rsource sucking as Doom 3. I'd say Battlefield 1942 system requirements. Scavenger
Graphics arent THAT advanced, if you can play bf1942, you can play this game (my guess)
HolmstN
I dont know, the graphics look pretty good here. Im getting BF for xbox, though, so I dont have to worry about system requirements. *Mumbles, but I do have to play only 8 vs 8, and theres probably gonna be kinda touchy controls*
Scavenger
If Xbox can it them than theres no doubt that most pc's can handle it
Tyler_Durden
if you have at leat a 1 gig processor and at least a G-Force 3 card with 256 MB of RAM, you should be able to pay the game on a medium to low setting. If it's anything like doom 3 and you need windows XP to play doom 3, and you don't have a 2.5 gig processor or 1 gig of ram and a GForce 4, you're pretty much screwed. Though i don't think the requirements will even come close to that.
sadisticmonkey
You need a almighty computer to play Doom 3, but it shows.
joesdomain
I am not knowledgeable about card names! I know my system is four years too old. I will have to buy the PS2 version! I would assume they will require 64MB video cards for this star wars game and possibly recommend 128MB video cards. I would guess 128MB memory is required but they will recommend 256MB memory. An@kin
ty for your answers.. i will try a Battlefield demo if there is one i suppose the requirements will be similar.. I just have to wait until october to buy the new pc whan PCI-Express video cards are out
Mountainforest
Of course everybody agrees battlefront is a better game DOOM3 will ever be.
Navix_Ceraq
i got an 2000+ gh Ati radeon 9600 atlantis 256mb runs doom 3 perfect on low settings.. and still looks good on low settings so i would be able to play swbf.. i hope
joesdomain
I would buy the PC version but all video games now require a 32MB video card to run a game. Kind of stinks! Should of bought a 64MB video card or a 128 MB video card when I had my computer made in July, 2000.
Tyler_Durden
My specs: AMD Athlon 2700 (2.16 Ghz) Processor 512 MB RAM G-Force 4 Ti 4200 64 MB video card Integrated 6.1 Sound on MSI Motherboard With these specs i can play Battlefield Vietnam at 1024x768 resolution at medium to high settings. Can also support up to 64 players at a time while playing. These aren't the greatest specs but they get the job done relatively well. I always get a smooth 60-65 frames per second. If anything i think the minimum system requirements for battlefield vietnam would be your benchmark for battlefront as vietnam is a bit more advanced than battlefield 1942. Though if i have to, i will upgrade my video card as it's starting to show its age.
An@kin
my big problem will be the cpu .. the video card will do her duty (geforce fx5200 128MB) cya
Mountainforest
Pentium IV 2,0 GHz 512 mb Ram ATI Radeon 9200SE Could be better but I expect a new PC next year.
Master William
so this is now a thread to show your specs? please stop now. I am running Battlefield 1942 very good so I expect Battlefront to run good as well.
Philanthropy
If you want probably the most near accurate test, check out Vietcong with all the graphics maxed.
joesdomain
I was told by some electronics pros that I could update my video card to play games like Battlefront but my video is a PCI video card slot and I have only found two cards out on the retail market that will fit it and I think one is a 32MB and a 64MB. This is what I get for having a computer built for internet use, keyboarding, doing college work, etc. hahaha! Any way! Sorta of a shame I can't enjoy even the early games like Jedi Academy, Knights of the Old Republic, Galaxies: An Empire Divided, Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb, and Jedi Outcast.
