Neon
You're right, but I know it will be mouse and keyboard
Mountainforest
Mouse is more precise, and faster like alegis said. BTW why sisn't this in the sliced Tauntaun? BTW2 Alegis, is GMail out, or do you have a beta acount?
Neon
yeah, it is faster. PS2 controller is hard to turn, and aim, so I think the best and easiest thing is the mouse.

Sure, you can snipe with a controller. BUT...there's no way you'll be able to run around jump and turn around, landing in the prone position and snipe someone with a headshot...not with a controller. With a mouse it's easier. Like I said before..it's like putting Tank controls in a Dodge Viper.

Vader523
You can always change sensativity ans turn around lightning fast. Some games have a turn control where you hold a button and turn and it makes you turn instantaneously. Well in SOCOM you can run to a spot, turn around, dive into prone, and zoom in for a headshot very easily. Diving gives the game a lot of ease. Im just more used to the feel of the controller. JawaJoey
To those who say that it's just what you're used to, I say this. A controller is easy if you're used to it, and have played shooters with a controller a LOT. With a mouse and keyboard, you don't have to be used to it. When you use a mouse and keyboard, it's obvious. WASD and the reload button are all you need to know to get started. Then you get in the game, start shooting stuff, and devote your time to getting better. When you use a controller, you have some buttons, which mean nothing without someone telling you what they do. Then you have to get used to the retarded move with one stick, aim with another system. It's hard enough just to figure out how to look around. During play you have to remember where the buttons are and everything. With a keyboard, it's intuitive and you KNOW where everything is. Some people do get good with controllers, but they had to spend a bunch of time getting good enough to PLAY. Also, to best use a controller, you'd pretty much need four hands. The left and right buttons, and the left and right sticks all need your two thumbs. With a mouse and keyboard, you can change weapons while running and jumping then turn around and fire in a few seconds, all while only barely moving your hands. With a controller, when you have three or four vital areas and only two thumbs, you have to switch postitions a lot, which is unpractical and stupid. T-NoS
IMO its easier to pilot vehicals with a controler than a mouse and keyboard
Vader523
Yeah DallasDawg gotta love those days of SOCOM 2. I love that game beyond belief. So you its cross-platform for PC & PS2? I havent heard anything on that. Also, T-NoS your right I feel like vehicles are much easier when controlled by controller.
Wardog1368
For you ppl who say the controller is harder to use your probably right. I like the controller because I'll know they have put time into the game if they are good, so it may be harder but once your used to it, you kinda start to hate other controlls. The_Preacher
Well after playing the Pc version it is very apparent the Designers designed this game for the Consoles first and ported to PC. it just feels so much better on a console, because thats how it was deigned. now i am not a fanboy of either console or PC. i just stating the facts.
