monkey joe
I was just wondering, can you become a jedi master during the game? I guess i'll always be a paduwan, even after i saved the universe and all.

*Yoinked*
I think that the highet rank you reach is definitely Knight though you are reffered to as a master And I agree with Redhawke, who is agreeing with DarthBuzzard, who is agreeing with Darth333... PHEW, what a mouthful...

*Yoinked*
Let me clarify.. At the end game LS cinematics, Vandar calls you the "Prodigal Knight" + killing the Dark Lord of the Sith would gain you a promotion, it happened with Obi-Wan and then it was only the death of the Dark Lord of the Sith's APPRENTICE, so when you put these together the only possible conclusion is that he/she is promoted to the rank of knight after the destruction of the Star Forge..... That is if you ended LS if not then you are only a padawan.... -Adam G.

I have always interpretted that to reference Revan's rank in the Jedi Order prior to his taking off to fight in the Mandalorian Wars. Remember that "Prodigal" is a descriptive term

Electricall
Them soldiers will never respect any sith master who's actually a paddie. They'd say things like: "I heard he's only a Padawan...", behind your back, and/or worse. Maybe that's why so many Sith Lords act so... agitated (recalls Darth Vader choking some officers)... Oh, i just read that in SW KOTOR 2 you will be able to become a Sith Lord or a Jedi master ( and all the ranks in between)!!!

While that is true (for the most part), the big test will be whether or not they write class tokens into the dialogs.

Achilles
Originally posted by RedHawke I hope OE does this, it can't be that hard to do! I'm sure that it's not; they did it about a million times with the selected PC name. In reality though, was it that big a deal? It almost seems like too much effort to stress the jedi class may seem a little cheesy. Then again...maybe it's just me.

True... it could get cheesy fast if done improperly. Hopefully OE will find a cool way to work in your proper Jedi or Sith titles in dialogues, depending on the prestiege class you select. [/topic] the highest possible rank to achieve is indeed a sith lord, although that title just simply comes with the territory, so to speak. The whole timing of his fight with Maul seems to be merely coincidential to me.
Darkside_tanro
Man i dont care if i had tha choice between sith and jedi i would go sith all tha way. Sith lords just look cooler. Plus instead of just waving your hands around to make people ben to your will you wave your hands around and choke people until you break there will. Force Choke is so much better than Mind Tricks.
