Darth Groovy Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 I just found a way to FINALLY make all my old band stuff into mp3 format. I want to add these mp3 files to my website, and for the life of me, I cannot remember how. I have both Frontpage AND Dreamweaver. Does anyone know the easiest and most accessible way to upload these files? Thanks in advance, Grooveh!
RpTheHotrod Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Upload the file somewhere, then <embed src="SongPathHere.mp3" autostart="true" width="70" height="24" loop="true">
TiE23 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 If you want them to click for the music <href= "MP3path.mp3">My Song</a> that right RP? TiE

Zappa_0 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 I think freewebs has a 40mb space with there freewebsite service. Which you can pay for it to get more space. http://www.freewebs.com
jon_hill987 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 If you are talking about the actual uploading rather than making the link to it the easiest way is to use windows to create a new network place, type in the Url and you can treat it like a folder on your own computer. 1 open "my network places" 2 click "add network place" 3 follow the wizard and type in the url wen requested. 4 drag and drop the mp3's into the network place folder. hope that helps.
Alegis Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Bah using windows to upload files uploading has never been easier since the File Transfer Protocol.
