doreato
Why isnt anyone posting any new threads? I used to come here all the time right before the 1st KOTOR came out, is it just for a lack of anything to talk about?
TemporaryTomato
The devs are rather tight-lipped about the game(probably because of Lucasarts). So there isn't much to talk about. I suggest going to the Obsidian boards, they are a bit more active when it comes to TSL. http://www.obsidianent.com

Darth Straker
Yep, not much info from LA. In Kotor 1 Bioware gave us a lot of insight on the game, they introduced you ALL your Npcs plus Malak and Bandon. Now it seems that only Mira and Sion are the only ones with a background story. RedHawke
Methinks, OE is more tight-lipped with TSL information because of LA, and of course Microsoft's "weighing-in" we can never know what all that entailed, telling OE not to reveal information about the game for some strange reason, there was definately more known about KOTOR 1 before it was released. FiEND_138
I kind of prefer being left in the dark to a few of the facts of this game; masked sith, party members, new worlds, etc. It's going to make the 1st play through so much more exciting than K1. That is unless the *Xbox players are terrible about posting new things; names in thread titles, lack of marked spoilers, etc., because I'd really like to be able to still come here & all of that. Or LA waits until the XBox version is out & posts everything on their site anyway. IMO LA kind of went over board with releasing facts about K1. Granted the conversation on this board is/will dry up, but theres always the Cantina *Disclaimer. Not intended to start trashing the XBox players or their consoles or anything of the sort. Don't we have enough threads doing that?

I agree, the first playthrough should have a lot of suprises. There was alot of information for KOTOR 1, and that fact has probably not excaped the people at OE and they don't want to spoil anything for us in TSL. Originally posted by FiEND_138 *Disclaimer. Curses The Xbox!* well, maybe it wasn't much of a surprise to you folks, but it was quite different for me. you see, i have never been a fan of rpg's, so i didn't really pay any attention to the announcement of a star wars based rpg. my thoughts were: "oh, umm, ok. another rpg that will probably suck. i'll just stick to my counter-strike." so, i was completely in the dark about kotor until it was released for the xbox. whenever it came out, the local eb-games ran the full version in the mall. most kids didn't play it because it was far from arcade style. i was kind of curious to see how it played, so i played it. i didn't let go of that controller for about 4 hrs (this is NOT an exaggeration). i saved it, then promptly came back the next day to play it for another 4 hrs (got through to dantooine, w/o strategy guides ). you see, the game was that much more fun for me because i was disinterested (initially). of course, i'm definately interested in tsl, so i'm desperately hoping that all you xbox users will make REALLY good use of the spoiler tags so that i won't have any surprises ruin for me. well, i'm ramblin, so, umm, ya. DarthBuzzard
Ive always hated RPG's, so when KotOR came out, I thought...meh. CoD and CS are for me. Then, I was at best buy, and it was for a good price. I bought it. I was addicted. The end
FiEND_138
Yes, I was in the same boat as stinger & Buzzard; primarily an FPS player, not into RPG's because of the turn based action of them (think FF with the obvious wait between actions). But it was a SW game, that to my knowledge had never been tried before. So naturally I followed the game as much as possible, not really apparent here as those were the days when I mostly lurked the boards, & in turn I think I found out a bit more than I would have liked IE; LA profiling most of the major characters on their site. Or some jerks posting unmarked MAJOR spoilers (the plot twist & such) in threads that had almost nothing to do with KotOR on other sites, with no consideration for the people still playing/waiting on the PC port. There really wasn't a whole lot of surprise my 1st game. Hopefuly LA continues what their doing, & not release every little thing about the major players in this game, & I think Hawke may be right with OE doing some 'weighing in' of their own....I hope. I also agree with stinger in the hope that the XBox players will please remember us PC players in Dec.-Feb. when posting spoiler material. But the mods here are pretty vigilant, so the unmarked stuff shouldn't ruin too much.
Aleggy
i have to say i too was in the dark about kotor i didn't know it even existed, my other halfs son happen to bring his xbox down when he came to say and i tried kotor for no other reason than it was an sw game and b4 this i had never enjoyed a rpg and the sole reason i am excited about tsl is because of how much i'm enjoying kotor

And the reason we aren't posting new threads is because the drool of KotOR 1 is cleaned up (youd have to check in halowan labs where we are drooling over all the new mods), but we will get an influx of users around/after kotor 2 due to the fact that they need to contribute their drool and mods.
