lukeiamyourdad
If I recall, you can use Force Choke in only one dialogue on Tatooine in Kotor I. wouldn't it be cool if we got to use it more often when playing DS? Ming trick would then be a lightside power and option.
StoneDragon
It will be cool but i think it will use many force points to use that.
stingerhs
^^^^ maybe it will in tsl, but in kotor 1, using force persuade didn't cost anything force points wise. and yes, i do think that force choke has a bit more persuasiveness to it than force persuade. although, it would still depend on the situation for the force persuade to be a darkside option or lightside. of course, force choke would have to be darkside... RedHawke
I also hope they work in a few more LS or DS options like the Force Choke into the dialogues for TSL.
UrchSr
What about Force pick person up off the ground by shirt and shake like a tough guy power... would that be dark or light? Bastila's leg sweep (Mission) was cool... that could also be used...
StoneDragon
*Force choke someone* Give me money! . Yep, having that option is great alright.

RedHawke
^^^^ I would just have loved to use this KOTOR dialogue option... [Force Choke] I find your lack of faith... disturbing!
Aleggy
^^^^^ yeah i mean if they had these kind of ds dialogue options i might of gone ds just for the fun of it however it just felt like a bully in a playground wanting everyones dinner money so i always stayed lightside

RedHawke
^^^^ [sarcasm] Another fine example of the Darkside you posted there! [/sarcasm] That I definately don't want to see in KOTOR:TSL! UrchSr
What about climbing trees to rescue kittens for light side?? The extremes were both pretty corny. "I'll buy this skull from you and then give you the profit as well..." WTH?! "Let me go out of my way to find a cure for some mutant disease and a map to Nirvana only to see the planet destroyed two hours later..." Okay, I need to choke someone... I'll be on Tatooiene if anybody needs me...

FiEND_138
It doesn't really relate to choking but it impacts conversation options..... More designer rambling: Awareness (or "[Awareness]" as it is now sometimes called) is a little different than in the first game - now it also acts like Sense Motive in conversations, allowing you to pick up on what someone is feeling or why someone is acting the way they do. At points throughout the game, you may get [Awareness] options pop up in dialogue, just like you would for Persuade. Other skills may cause additional conversation options as do statistics, so you may see things like: [intelligence], [Wisdom], [Repair], [Demolitions], etc, etc. -Chris Avellone http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=25257 Sounds hell-a cool to me! RedHawke
^^^^ Thanks for the heads-up FiEND! It also sounds really cool to me too. That is classic PnP RPG stuff they are adding in to the dialogues. This makes our skills far more valuable than what they were in KOTOR 1, very nice! stingerhs
^^^^ this is going to make the replay factor massive. with all the little details like that, i could easily take us 10+ times through the game w/o seeing all of the dialog options. now that is sweet. Darkside_tanro
Red hawk, in case you hadnt noticed my post was sarcasm.... Anyways The new mods to the stat system sound pretty cool. I still would like to be able to use more darkside powers in conversations.
