Curt-Man Posted February 23, 2005 Share Posted February 23, 2005 Karten saw the jedi enter a building complex, so Karten waited outside in the shadows for them to come out. and so he waited... after a while they came out, Karten was suprised to see them looking differently but he knew it was them becuase of thier clothes, and so he started stalking them once again... weiderudare Posted February 27, 2005 Share Posted February 27, 2005 Zamar felt a headache approaching his mind as the bright colours shone straight into his eyes. Putting the hood even more forward, Zamar examined the surroundings for some kind of way off the planet. Up ahead, Zamar finally found a hangar, filled with simple ships. "I hope you brought money, or know how to twist brains around." If the jedi failed in getting a ship, he could always steal one. Murder wasn't his strong side, but making people very sleepy using a small portion of the Force had helped him get what he needed. At least Caitlin was too busy to care about him even having used the Force. "Show me some fancy jedi diplomatic moves...Almost forgot how you do it nowadays" He smirked slightly. Writer Posted February 28, 2005 Share Posted February 28, 2005 "Fancy diplomatic moves?" Erica asked. Her eyes sparkled with laughter she would not allow to the surface. She approached a nearby ship and found that someone was in it. Smiling pleasantly, she spoke. "Hello," she said. "We are three travellers who need a ship. Does yours happen to have enough room for us?" "Get lost," the alien snarled. Erica laughed and Caitlin stepped forward. She waved a hand toward the creature's face. "You sold this ship to us," she said slowly. The creature blinked and nodded slowly. "I sold this ship to you," he said. He took a step away from it and Caitlin waved her hand in his face again. "You traded it for a ship on platform 23," she said. He nodded and turned to go. He left the hangar and made his way to platform 23, where he found the ship the Jedi had used to get to Kamino. When he got there, he came to his senses and hissed. His ship had been stolen... by Jedi. He would report this to the Empire. Meanwhile, Caitlin and Erica boarded the creature's ship, followed by Zamar. "Next stop, Mantessa," Erica intoned. Caitlin nodded and said, "Let's go." The ship rose and entered space. "Mantessa is entirely unpopulated by sentient beings. The only things that live there are senseless animals. One of these is very dangerous. It's called a sleen. While it's not very big, it can be very fast if it wants to be. Erica and I will try to keep them away from you, but you would do well to have a weapon as well." "We're not all powerful," Erica said. "If enough of these creatures attack, we'll need your help." "A person obsessed with probabilities would tell you that we have a 40% chance of running into one of these creatures," Caitlin continued. "Let's just say it's often enough to keep us on our toes." "I just had a thought," Erica said suddenly. "If the planet is uninhabited, why are we going there?" Caitlin did not reply for a moment. Curt-Man Posted March 2, 2005 Share Posted March 2, 2005 Karten decided he was to do something, he got up and went to the back of his ship where his gun case was, along with his Father's Vibrosword. Karten opened the gun case and took out his Blaster Rifle and a blaster pistol. He strapped the rifle to his back and the pistol to his right hip. Karten glanced at the Vibrosword. "We're approaching Mantessa," Erica said suddenly. The ship dropped out of hyperspace and Erica directed it toward the planet. "We'll land in that clearing and begin the hunt for pirates. Curt-Man Posted March 3, 2005 Share Posted March 3, 2005 Karten was back in his seat when his ship came out of hyperspace, he just saw the jedi's ship land, Karten headed for a smaller clearing, but he had a smaller ship so it was ok. She felt it squirming under her foot and leapt up, drawing her lightsaber and stabbing downward at the creature. It shrieked and squirmed as Caitlin's blow killed it. Curt-Man Posted March 8, 2005 Share Posted March 8, 2005 Karten put on his thermal vision, he could see where the sleen were and avoided them, he was not afraid fo them, but did not want to give up his cover, off in the distance were several small humanoid figures, it must be them, he though as he snuk towards their direction. There could be more pirates out there, and he wanted to find them. "Can you use those fancy powers of yours and examine the area for more of these?" He whispered quietly to Caitlin while loosening the cloak. They might be able to get a ride out of here with those pirates, or at least stomp them a bit. They were headed directly toward a pirate landing area. And it was swarming with pirates. "Maybe that's not the best way to get a ride out of here," Erica muttered.
