saberhagen Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 This is already looking like a very ambitious game. afaik no-one has tried to combine space and ground battles in this way before. I think if they tried to add more than 2 civs it would get overambitious and there would be less chance of it being good.
Jan Gaarni Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Imperium Galactica II had this type of game play, where it combined space battles with ground battles, but that one also had micro-managing of planets so the population could grow and thrive, building up your ground forces and spacefleet, develop new technology, weapons, and military hardware (aswell as civilian advances). I always hoped Rebellion would become sorta like that one, but allas it didn't reach that high. None the less, Rebellion was a fun game which I spent many, many hours on.

It might come out tomorrow here though, that's when Narvesen (which holds alot of different mags from all over the world here in Norway) get's their mags (usually) where I live. *crosses fingers*
