Hannibal
I also read that Qui-gon was suppose to appear in AOTC but Liam Neeson was in a bad motorcycle accident (if you remember) and and was more concerned with getting out of the hospital than making movies. I don't blaim him. How do we know that it was qui-gon? I always thought the voice was obi-wan's and he could feel his actions the same way Yoda could. Andy867
Originally posted by guybroom I've not seen the clone wars, so i don't know what happened. but qui-gon did not disappear. So doesn't that mean he can't come back as a ghost? Anakin Skywalker didnt disappear when he died, but yet he came back on Endor during the celebration of the victory at hand and the end of the Empire. I believe that if you die while living for the Force (or on the light side of it anyways), you are able to return as a non-corporeal being (energy/ ghost/ spirit/ voice), whereas if you died in servitude of the Dark side of the Force, you cannot return. It has been confirmed in the past that it was in fact Qui-gon who shouted out Anakin! Anakin! before Anakin says NO!!!! during Yoda's meditation. Derc
He's also one of my favorite SW characters too. I guess I love his elegant fighting style. Besides, he's one of the few that have their own icon thing!

Mike Windu
I think it would be nice to have Qui-Gon come back, even though I was always more of an Obi fan in episode I.

I don't have any sources on hand, but I'm pretty sure that your wrong about that theory. I'll try to find some and show you.

dark jedi 8
if you refer to the EU then yes but based on movies then... we'll just have to wait and see if Ep. 3 has any answers.
guybroom
I think there is a reason why there are no dark side ghosts in the films: Luke sees Obi and Yoda. Who would Vader see? "Darth Vader, I am the ghost of the sith aprentise who killed one of your best jedi friends - Darth Maul." I can't see it happening. Also in the prequals, there are no dark side ghosts to really see. Like i just said IMO - darth maul would be a rubbish ghost. Maul was mainly for the murchandising deals (like jar jar, but that's a different story) and no other dark side char dies yet.
