Remi
SUCKS. It wants to be all deep and ****, but the lack of research and the Grisham like writing (based on the little I've read of it) makes the whole thing a joke. (And that was my line and a half review.) Jayel
I found it entertaining. That is, I didn't find it boring. That's the only good thing I can say about it. The plot strangely reminded me of Gabriel Knight 3. But GK3 was better because it had vampires and stuff.

That basically ruined national Treasure for me (among other things), which was the lack of research put into it. That said, I haven't yet seen the Da Vinci Code, but I may do. Gabez
Yeah, I think I agree with both Remi *and* Jayel here. Entertaining but not very good. I've heard reading it as being compared to eating a double-cheesburger: not very good, but nice all the same. If you want more of the same but in the form of critically aclaimed literature, then you can't go wrong with Umberto Eco
elTee
The only thing that annoys me about the Da Vinci code is that I was interested in this Rennes Le Chateax stuff years ago and everyone thinks it's some kind of new thing.
Gabez
Because my novels are so research-intensive, they take a couple of years to write. My next novel will be another Robert Langdon adventure (picking up, in fact, where The Da Vinci Code left off). Currently, there is no release date scheduled because the book is not yet near completion. That's a long time to surf Google...

elTee
Ha, said as though you two wouldn't be living it up if you just wrote the highest selling book since Harry Potter
