silverblue Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 I've just seen the psychonauts comics: http://www.psychonauts.com/developer.htm but...a little disappointed...the dialogs seem not to be a Schafer-Style Humor as in Grim Fandango...I still can't find anything so funny enough in it to make me langh ...or is it for the fact that just my brain doesn't work well? If so, then I'm a little worried...hope the game will not be like these comics, not so funny or maybe too hard for me to find something funny staff... Ha, anyway, I truly love the cartoon art style of it! That's perfectly a Schafer-Style.
Remi Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 Seems to me that it's more meant as a character introduction than actually being super-funny. And while the comics aren't quite as good as Scott's knight/muscleman/spaceman adventures, they're still fairly amusing.
Thrik Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 Scott's comics are generally so wacky that the weirdness itself becomes the humour. You just have to approach them in a different light to get any amusement out of them.

Oh, luckily that's not what the game itself is like
