stingerhs Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 yes, i know it was a big disappointment because it didn't deliver what was promised *cough, cough*kotor2*cough, cough, but rumor has it that they'll be giving pc gamers all of the promises that they had going. anyways, i've got a link from gamespot if you guys are interested. the link: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/fablethelostchapters/index.html?tag=mp_2to9
Guest Saturnine Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 As long as it doesn't let you to play a female, I couldn't care less.
Derc Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 That is, if you can really trust Peter Molyneux ever again.

In the beginning, when Fable was still Project Ego, he promised all these revolutionary features of the game that got all gamers excited and such. It was one of, if not THE most hyped game of 2004. Don't get me wrong, Fable was decent, but it had so much potential. Perhaps Fable: The Lost Chapters will repent for PM's sins.
Drazin Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 I was really dissappointed in Fable. IMO Kotor2 delivered what Fable promised in regards to the every action has consequences.
RaV™ Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 never played Fable 2, the dark side looking guy though on the cover or whereever it was looks awesome..

stingerhs Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 just so that i can make a relevent quote: "No one is beyond redemption," Revan, Kotor 1.
Boba Rhett Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 If they send people, who bought the Xbox version, this game for free, I agree with you.
Rogue15 Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 i love fable on the xbox. it's one of my favorite xbox games. it was fun the whole way through, the only part i didn't care for was the annoying sneak past the bandits part, the rest was great. XD esp loved continuing after the game's storyline ended and maxing out stats and being the evil landlord of oakvale.

But I will be buying it anyway just too see if it can finally live up to the hype of "the greatest RPG ever" and the hype of "what a RPG is supposed to be like."
montnoir Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 What did TSL promise that it didn't deliver? As far as I am concerned, it promised to be the sequel to KOTOR and that is precisely what it delivered. EDIT Oh yeah, it promised bigger areas and it didn't deliver that.
RaV™ Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 they promised more areas? the whole game doesn't even much up to Taris, in my opinion
Goukistar Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Originally posted by Derc That is, if you can really trust Peter Molyneux ever again. I lost all faith in him after forking out for Black and White. Now there was a game that failed to deliver!
