KOTOR 1 models in KOTOR:TSL

thats what i was thinking :confused: if that is the case then maybe juhani's skin files could be modified to work in TSL and one of the head files already in could be reskinned since it is like 5 years after KOTOR1 she might have grown some hair :confused:

I'm not positive, but I don't believe they are compatible formats. Especially since they were "made" by two different companies. I could be wrong but I've experimented as well and Juhani or a few others from KOTOR I and they all show up funky, invisible or the like.

AFAIK, the actual models (mdl/mdx) are missing, hence the crash.

i put those files in the override folder and the game still crashed :eek: so i've started converting a skin from KOTOR1 for TSL :D it's going slow since i gotta copy and paste the old one over to the new one and it's going good so far but the problem i'm going to run into is the kotor tool extracted the tgas for the head and robe verrrrrrrrrrrry small which is bad since resizing makes it fuzzy

I was just posting a question to see if you could do just that very thing ;)

 

I'll be interested to see if this works. :) Juhani was my fav. character in KOTOR I :D

As Xcom mentionned, the models are not included in TSL.

 

As for converting stuff from Kotor 1 for TSL, this forum does not condone this type of discussion (check the forum rules ). Unfortunately I have to lock this thread.

 

Edit: If you are doing a custom skin that does not use K1 files, this is something else but then I would suggest you start a new thread to avoid confusion.
