DaxJorell
My favorite Mods (also tested for Modded XBoxes): KOTOR II: TSL -Maverick187 & Red Hawke's Prestiege Item Pack Gives great items (weapons; robes; crystals) when you reach your Prestiege Class. ---------- -Super Squall's Prestiege Padawan Mod Allows NPCs to become Prestiege Class Jedi. Handmaiden becomes Weapon Master/Maurader; Atton Jedi Watchman/Sith Assassin; etc, etc. ---------- -Handmaiden For Female Players Mod by Stoffe Let's female PCs choose either Disciple or Handmaiden regardless of gender. ---------- -I Want Mira or Hanharr Regardless of My Allignment Mod Let's DS players take Mira; LS players take Hanharr. ---------- -No Force Visual Effects by X_Com Removes all shield, Force casting and Weapon feat effects making the game more like the films. ---------- -Black Hair (male) PC by Kampher Changes the blonde, male "Jesus" head to have black hair and beard. Includes DS transitions as well. --------- Achille's Rob Mode (v1-1.3) Rextured robes that replace the ugly Jedi Master-style robes. Also includes fixes that make sure Mira wears the Environment Suit at the Jek Jek 'Tar and that Carth is weaing a Republic Officer's Uniform and not the Holy Armor he is originally assigned if you play a LS-Revan storyline. ---------- -Envida's Harbinger Quarter's Mod Gives the PC some robes, armband and other unique items you'd expect a war veteran to have that get the PC through most of the game until they hit their Prestiege Class. This is a MUST have if just for the fact it makes more sense for an ex-Jedi exile to travel through space with more than his/her underwear and armband! ---------- -Tanina's Prequel Sabers Pack Gives you Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon Jin and an original, Gold saber design. They replace the blue, green and (gold) sabers respectively. ---------- Start Game (Peragus) w/Lightsaber mod by Xcom This is a really big "cheat", but I like the option of having it in my inventory more than anything else. Especially, once you get to Telos' surface and face the mercs. It makes frustrating battles (due to bad AI) easier and more manageable. It also comes in handy once Visas arrives and you haven't built your PC's lightsaber yet... Or you can give it to Kriea and have her go to town on unsuspecting enemies even with one hand. ---------- Improved AI (WIP) by Stoffe A must have as it really does tweak the AI to be smarter and make better combat decisions. Improves Jedi Support behavior and default combat feat selection as well. --------- Remote Tells NPC Influence by TK102 This is something that should have been put in the game in the GUI somewhere that tells you how much influence on your party members you do or don't have at any given time (on board the Ebon Hawk). ---------- Force Powers in Armor (forgot Author; multiple versions) This may be considered a cheat... But realistically, even in SW, there is nothing that says Force users can't wear armor and use the Force at the same time. Besides, Darth Bandon clearly uses it in KOTOR, so why can't the PC? ---------- T'wilek Textures by Achilles Just small, rextured T'wilek textures that are more blended and actually match the bodies they go too ---------- Ebon Hawk Lab Station Mod by Envida Pretty self-explanatory. There should have been a Lab Station in Med Bay from the start. ---------- And, my personal favorite that I am helping test at the moment... Paragon's D20 Adaptation Mod If you are into the Star Wars RGP pen and paper game this mod aims to recreate that exprience as much as possible in terms of Force power selection (you must unlock the classes of Force Powers (Sense, Alter, Control) before you even use them), feats and even Jedi classes as it makes the Consulr and Guardian the primary Jedi classes as they are portrayed in both the films and PnP RPG and adjusts their skills and skill focuses accordingly. I can't say enough about this mod. The author (Paragon) did so many cool things that it is impossible to list them here... But suffice to say, this makes the game more tactical and more RPG-like and less hack-and-slash than the game currently is. One BIG plus is that Paragon found a way to make the enemies you face via the autobalance challenging, yet FAIR where the enemies put up just the right amount of resistance to keep you on your toes (no one-hit wonders), but not frustratingly hard like some of the hardcore mods make them just to prolong the battles. Another big plus is that the XP table has been adjusted so that you can and will reach level 50* by the end of the game with NO cheats or exploits. Other mods have tried this, but Paragon has done it to where it FEELS natural and not artificial like a lot of gameplay mods do when attempting this goal. *Currently testing; may add 50 more levels just to see how it works out in the end; 100 level cap. For no other reason, I would download this mod for these two reasons alone. ----- KOTOR -RedHawke's Ebon Hawk Construction Bench This basically turns the workbench in KOTOR into the one in TSL and allows breakdown and creation of items "from scratch" according to skill checks. --------- -Force Sensitive Mod 2.0 This makes the default classes their Jedi Class counter-parts (Soldier/Guardian; Scout/Sentinel; Scoundrel/Consular) and allows you to be a Jedi right from the very first time you talk to Trask aboard the Endar Spire. You immediately get Force Powers, but no lightsaber. This fits in with the storyline of Revan being a Jedi who's identity was erased, but not his affinity with the Force. This mod enhances the game's original storyline and doesn't drastically alter it too much, but gives the PC more options before they reach Dantooine. The mod also allows for Jedi-multiclassing with no side effects. I.E. A Sentinel can become a Jedi Consular (or any other Class) and retain the feats, Force powers and abilities of their initial Jedi class along with the benefits of the new one. Almost like a Prestiege Class for KOTOR if this mod is used. Highly recommended! --------- Faster Regeneration (various authors; multiple versions) Just makes KOTOR more like TSL in that you and your party regenerate VP when out of combat. Saves on using Med Pacs and Force Heal more than anything. --------- There are others I use, but they are like the ones for TSL (no Force Power Effects; Force Power in Armor, etc.) and not as major as these above. Darkkender
While it is as of yet not completed, I have a feeling the new Holowan Plugin for TSL will be a big billet mod that many modders will download and make use of. That could be wishful thinking but considering the number of downloads the Original Holowan Plugin has had would be a good indicator. I would offer to allow you to host it at your site but I'm not sure what type of limit your site has so I'm a bit hesitant to offer out of courtesy because it will be big. How big you ask? Really Big.
