Avatar Transparency

Okay, I think you'll know what I mean if you look at my avatar. The corners are meant to be transparent, but just show up white. Is transparency supported by the forums, and if so, why is it not working for me? Thanks.

I see the transparency just fine...and that's not something the forums have the capability to disable.

This is a browser issue, Internet Explorer doesn't support the png transparency correctly, that's why you see a white trim. If you want keep the transparency even in IE, save you image as a .gif instead.

and get adblock and flashblock for firefox while you're at it. you're LF experence would be MUCH better

Yeah, FireFox is cool, but the actual program starts slower than IE. Its a small price to pay, for it speeds up even my dial up browsing. There are a few forum display problems (no user glows, small post box) but they aren't a huge problem. Im hoping the forum upgrade might fix this.

I use Firefox, I see the transparency (lol, I see ) just fine ... except for a small white dot in the lower right corner.
