Darth Malakhor
I'm not totally sure if this is in the right section or not, but I figured it was, because it involves mods. So, sorry if you have to move it.I'm stuck with a really terrible problem right now, and I need serious help.Yesterday night when I was playing Kotor1, I noticed a problem. When I went to take off my Revan armor that I installed through a mod, to try on Darth Bandon's armor, I still had on the Revan armor, even though I had taken it off.I'm stuck looking like Darth Revan, and don't have my appearance anymore, and also cannot see other armors on myself.I can't fix the problem because I'm not sure what caused it, besides knowing that it was one of the mods that I am using.I tried taking all of the mods out, and doing a save and reload on Kotor, but I'm still stuck looking like Revan even if the clothes aren't there, and the mod doesn't exist... I was wondering if there were any settings I could tamper with to restore my previous appearance.I'm the white male face that has the longest hair out of all the faces, and my alignment is shifted all the way to the dark side, so I have the awesome, wrinkly, evil face. And by the way, the two mods that I think are involved are the Revan items by ChAiNz, and the mask_plus_1.5 by T7nowhere.I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help me, because my most recent save, that isn't screwed up, is horribly far back in the game, and I don't want to lose everything I've found, and go through a bunch of already completed planets again......Thanks alot for any help you may be able to give me. Jeff
Unfortunately, I believe that is a side effect of wearing revans armour too long. I had the same problem when i played k1. I tried to take it off and put the maskless version on, and the mask was still there, along with the rest of the armour, even when no armour was equipped. Sorry I couldn't solve your problem, but I don't think there is a solution.
Emperor Devon
@DarthMoeller, of course there's a solution! KSE. Darth Malakhor, no need to tamper with any files. Just download KSE, and use it to change your appearence. Using KSE requires no modding skills whatsoever, and it can be downloaded in the tools section of SWknights. ChAiNz.2da
Both DarthMoeller & Emperor Devon are right Unfortunately, the culprit is my Revan's Items armor... the disguise feature in KotOR is "buggy", therefore I believe after the Leviathan, if your PC is wearing the armor.. it becomes 'permanent' This was my first mod BTW.. hehehe... way before I realized a better way of incorporating the Revan look.. and before I had ever posted anything here at HL... Take that as a lesson 'soon to be modders'.. don't hesitate about asking questions Use KSE as Emperor Devon had suggested to 'revert back' to your normal self. and apologies for my mod creating a 'stink'
Jeff
ChAiNz, I don't think it was just your mod that did this. I remember I have used yours and RedHawke's and both did that to my character. And I do not believe RedHawke used the disguise way, but I could be wrong. Anyways, it wasn't only your mod that did this.

Perhaps.. but I've never personally come up with the problem using RedHawke's stuff... mine unfortunately is a "self- confirmed" problem... so even if it was another mod... mine will definitely do it as well... Since it was stated that my mod was being used, it's only fair warning to say that mine either is or will be a problem. Best to catch it before it happens again Needless to say, I'm particularly more cautious when using or creating a mod that uses a disguise feature
Darth Malakhor
Thanks for the help guys.I'm glad to see that there is a solution.Don't worry about it, ChAiNz.I'ts my fault for not creating any recent back-up saves, like I know I should do.Wow!Just thrilled to hear that I don't have to lose my save! Boxah
I'd just use KSE but you might have to save and change a few times on the appearance front. Unfortunately it's only as specific as, for example, 'Male Caucasian Medium Build'. Eventually you'll get your appearance back.

I've downloaded KSE and tried it out, and it works!I'm glad KSE exists, because now I can keep using your mod, and if the problem ever happens again I'll know there's a solution. Oh, yeah, I'm about an hour and 20 minutes from "Cashville"lol.I didn't notice you were a fellow Tennessean. Well, cool to know that I share a blood type. Either that, or after a certain amount of time it just becomes permanent. It happened to me all the time in K1, and now it happens to me in K2 with Kreia. RedHawke
Originally posted by DarthMoeller And I do not believe RedHawke used the disguise way, but I could be wrong. Actually, I did use the disguise function on all of the robes with a "I" at the end of their names.
