joshpearce Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 ive seen people hiding in walls and being invisable.someone told me this is called wall hacking.I am new to the game and would like to know how you do it and if thats what they are.
McCusto Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Please don't do it, it is unfair to everyone else because they can attack you but you can't attack them. I don't know how to do it, nor do I want to. Please, don't turn into a wall hacker. Welcome to Battlefront, though
quixter Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 It just shows how nooby u are if u wallhack, I think it's EXTREMELY CHEAP!!! DIE WALLHACKERS : : LOL Also Welcome to SWBF!
stefanlinden Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 I hate wallhackers. I think they should leave the game and don't come back.
Leviathan Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 SWBF should have a wall-hackers' detector... It would work as Force Vision in Jedi Academy... All characters would be surrounded by a colored envelope...
Darkest Wolf Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 Wall Hacking isn't so bad after there just exploiting a flaw in the game its not actually cheating, yes its an annoying tactic but there's nothing more satisfying than killing a wall hacker who thinks you cant see him.
TK-8252 Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 If SWBF 2 wants to stop wall-exploiters they should make sure they make the maps with solid walls so you can't hide in them.
stefanlinden Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 But still there will be places where you can 'wall-hack'. Because it is nearly imposssible to check all the walls
Leviathan Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Because it is nearly imposssible to check all the walls At least, it would take much time...
Leviathan Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 It is useless now to repeat the same thing... We have understood your opinion, quixter...
zerted Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 You know someone is "wall hacking" when bullets are flying out of a wall. In order to kill the person, you have to follow him into the wall. For those with great aim, you have another option. When you fall under the map (not off it) you can still shoot while falling (sometimes) until you die, you can snipe anyone on the map anywhere even in a wall. Also, if you have a jetpack, you can fly around under the map and pop-up anywhere on the map within range of the jetpack. Its something you should learn how to do in order to kill those who are doing it.
ParanoidAndroid Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 I agree, I say the only time wall hacking should be used is to ferret out other wall hackers.
stefanlinden Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 I just remember now: I once had an AI Bot (!!!) that was wallhacking. I don't know if it was on purpose, but it happened in single player. So it was 100% sure an AI Bot... I think he just fell through the ground or something
zerted Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 Yea, the AI bots can fall/be pushed/blown into a wall. My problem is when it happends, they all ways end up in a wall that I've never seen a human in. I can't figure out how they get into some of those spots, , and I've tried really hard.
Micahc Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 On Rhen Var Citidal I was the Imperials and somhow a wookiee fell through the ground around the Crypt. All you could see was the fuzzy top of his head sticking through the floor and somehow we mannaged to blast out with thermals. (This was on Single Player cause I don't want to pay for Live)
stefanlinden Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 I had it in the Citadel, but it was near the observatory in one of the buildings
