I became a member about 3-4 yrs ago, then stopped posting. Then I was missing talking to a bunch of people obsessed with MI as I am, so I came back. It says you registered August 2004. Well... thats not much of a surprise. I thought I would be another one of those oldies come back.. Well, technically I never really used to hang around on the LucasForums. Used to hang around on #monkey-island when it was on DAL-net. Ahh.. the good old days. Skyfox running a thriving Scummbar, monkey islanders fragging eachother to tiny little bits in shoddy uQareK skins. Anyone here still remember the old x-mas (pronounced eks-mass) polls for the #m-i channel... with midi-music and animated gifs. And those months when everyone was looking forward to the Plunder3d mod, but it for some reason just stopped. I think GregD said he had problems getting a programmer. Such terrible waste of good productive mod-making time.. Well... ...this suddenly got a bit weird. Ill probably stick around for a while.. are things still kicking? mvh GoodSoup

BgBennyBoy! Me! Scabb! PTDC! Metallus! Jake! And other assorteds. We play Half-Life Deathmatch and Worms Armageddon. #monkey-island exists in a 99% dead state (idlers) on irc.gamesurge.net, although if somebody recognises you y'may get invited into the cool kids' zone.
