I knew they plan on sequels and I hope Alba continues her character. I guess Nancy becomes kinda not so innocent. Heh, funny saying that about a stripper :p Anywho, if it'd have to be on a premium channel to work and someone in love with Frank Miller's work to direct if not Miller himself.

The ONLY hope for this succeeding is if it's on HBO. It will lose way too much of the grit and violence and atmosphere on a regular network.

And since I don't GET HBO...I gets the shaft :(

Same here, ET, but there's still comfort knowing it'll eventually come to DVD, right? I had to have a my sister's boyfriend's friend's friend tape Band of Bros for us only to have it released a year or so later

I actually started getting HBO....3 days ago. I'd only reccomend it if you can get it for a good price. Its good, but not worth any fingers :p

I'm not even in the US, but there are solutions... *twirls mustache in an evil way*

Anyway, by the time this comes out i'd hope that you'd be able to download episodes legally from itunes or somewhere.

A question, though: Doesn't that actress look a lot like Franka Potente (Run Lola Run)?

Not in "real life" no. Those pictures make them look more similar than they really are. Watched Creep last night that starred Franke Potente and she seems more well built (not in a dirty way!) and more mature than jesica alba, who looks smaler, curvier, younger and more feline.

What this would really kick-but as would be as an adult, black white and red cartoon. Not sure if that is likely though, as the US doesn't tend to do adult cartoons.

(which is weird in itself as they have the Simpsons and Family Guy, two of the most successful adult cartoons in the world. But other that comedies...nothing.).

Well if it goes on HBO latenight they might get the guys that did the Spawn: Animated Series.

I remembered them doing that. I never watched it because the movie made me lose interest in that franchise pretty quickly. What the hell was McFarlane doing with that exactly? That was nothing like the comics. Were the cartoons better? They surely couldn't have been worse....

I may be just incredibly weird, but while I liked Sin City (the movie), I didn't think it was great. The artistic style was good, but in other ways it left me cold. Some of the scenes felt simply too contrived, with some over-acting, or simply non-acting. Clive Owen's American accent made me grind my teeth to splinters it was so bad.

So if they decide to make a series, all I can say is...meh.

The cartoons are on the same level as the comics. The movie should never, ever be mentioned.

I kept looking at the dvds in shop sales, but the fact they didn't put ANY screenshots on the cover led me to believe it was probably terrible and not worth buying. Silly cover designers...
