The Doctor Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 http://www.funnyjunk.com/pages/mindreader.htm I just saw this a few days ago. It's mildly interesting, but very simple. This is how it does it: Reveal hidden contents when you add the digits in a two digit number together and subtract them from the original number, you always get a multiple of 9. All the multiples of 9 have the same symbol, but the symbol changes each time you click try again. BTW, I love the use of the Star Trek sounds fx:D
90SK Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Oooooh! It reads my mind! Pretty tricky, Doctor. Thanks for the link.
The Doctor Posted October 26, 2005 Author Posted October 26, 2005 No problem. I'm spending my time on line looking for illusion tricks and stuff like that.
boinga1 Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 That's awesome. Pretty simple, once you think about it.
JediKnight707 Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Really, I cant figure out how the **** it works, but I've been to funnyjunk like a billion times, so I've seen that
Vladimir-Vlada Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Good find. (Hmmm, strange use of Java scripting I must say...)
Aurora Merlow Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 pretty funny doc, great find. sadly it took me a while to figure out how it did it. Probably should have just read your spoiler, but there's no fun in that
RevanA4 Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Reveal hidden contents I've seen this and know how it works it doesn't read your mind it has a total of 12 separate symbols that are repeated in order to give the illusion it is reading your mind. it also has to do with what the equation it tells you to do with your starting number therefore it is basically fool proof unless you have figured out the symbol thing ha I've fooled it
The Doctor Posted October 26, 2005 Author Posted October 26, 2005 ^ Read the spoiler in my original post. You basically repeated what i said. I know how it works.
