Jaden25
Hey guys I was wondering if that was James Earl Jones doing Darth Vader's voiceover. Our Was that Hayden because I don't see Mr.Jones listed on the cridets at the end of the movie. And to I wonder if Mr.Jones wanted to be unlisted in the cridets like he was for the first star wars film
TK-8252
...I think common sense says that's not Hayden's voice. That is indeed James Earl Jones. Since he's just doing the voice he doesn't have to be on the credits.
Alkonium
Yep, most likely JEJ didn't want to be credit. I remember a quote by him once "David Prowse(or in this case, Hayden Christensen) is Darth Vader, I'm just a special effect"
Aurora Merlow
yeh it was James Earl Jones

The Doctor
David Prowse is more like a stunt actor - you never see his face and he never has a line [except at the end of the last movie, of course]. James Earl Jones will always be Darth Vader.
El Sitherino
Shaw plays the de-masked Vader, not Prowse.
Furball
Imo James Earl Jones is Vader and always will be. Try another actor doing vaders voice, would it be the same? NEVER.
The Source
Imo James Earl Jones is Vader and always will be. Try another actor doing vaders voice, would it be the same? NEVER. I agree! On a similar note, I thought it sounded weird when Vader spoke about Padame'. It was a little uncharacteristic of Vader showing feelings about anyone. Anikan showing feeling is cool, but Vader showing feelings before 'Return of the Jedi' was a little weird...

That was the last bit of feeling Darth Vader ever had before being redeemed by his son in 4 ABY.

RedHawke
^^^^ Not when you consider that he did everything for Padme, and that last bit about Padme was the last of Vaders 'goodness', until he meets his son. Also notice Sidious in that scene when he tells him Padme is dead, him smiling when Vader is doing his famous NOOOOOO! Kind of Sidious breaking the last part of Vaders goodness. Just my 2 cents. Aurora Merlow
agreed, it signalled the last of anakin skywalker until he's redeemed, and the final breaking of Sideous' new apprentice
The Doctor
Shaw plays the de-masked Vader, not Prowse. I didn't know that. Shows how much I know. Anyway, that just reinfoces my argument that Prowse was just a stunt actor.
