What civilization are you going to choose and why?

I'm gonna be the Trade Federation cuz they look cool,they almost blew the gungans away in the Theed plains battle and they're gonna be so friggin' cool.

Atfer that I'll be the Gungans cuz their buildings and stuff will be organic and I wanna see an organic guard tower and organic walls man.

Then I'll be the Naboo cuz they got pretty buildings and cool looking aircraft and Amidala's a babe.

Then I'll be Wookies,then Empire,then Rebels. And the battle to see would be the Trade Feds destroying the empire,or the wookies or the rebs. Heck,robots look cool destroying everything.

I guess. An all droid army is good in that they're easily replaced and they're cheap.And the Droideka's and the MTT's and AAT's and the STAP's. They all fill a good attach niche.Plus there's the various other units they made up for the game.I get the gungans next cuz I wanna see how it is on the opposite pole:all organics to fight.Then Naboo sound pretty decent cuz afterall they took over a palace(a Trade Fed base in its own right) with only infantry and a few mechs. And then the wookies cuz they're kinda interesting with their technologies and stuff. Then Empire cuz of their cool infantry("There's one,set for stun") and the campaign'll have to be fun as the ever-victorious imps(at least during the movies). And then the rebels cuz everyone wants them and they're being overhyped,but they still mgiht be fun.

welcome, oh old one.. finally we hit the thirties on these boards..

 

i've said it somewhere before i think, but the whole pro's / cons thing of civs is what makes a community. If a game had a certain set way of beating, you'd hardly be pushed to devote websites to the same solution over and over again, right ?

 

The tactics, the strategies, the civ guides... it's going to be AWESOME !

if you're talking about the dual saber jedi from the TF, then you may be pleased to hear that i read on pcgamer that they probably will be in the game.

jedi have melee abilities, so they will be able to duel, but it probably won't be as fancy as you saw in the movies.

Very nice then!. Something I really appreciate of Lucas Arts is that they really think in every detail when making a game, to let people feel like they are indeed inside the movies

yeah, hehe he looks albino to me. i don't rommel, that's a good question but my gut feeling is that i don't think so. all of the mages/special fighters in games such as AoK, starcraft, etc. didn't change appearance, so i don't think this will happen with jedi.

i think i'mgoing to be the imperials. they never realy got their fair chance in the movies and i think that they just made some stupid mastakes. i'll give them a fighting chance.

 

then i'll be the naboo because in mr. fixits preveiw it is said that they will have the best air and i think the air units will have a great impact.

yeah mr. G, the rebels have the best air force. check the mr.fixit website again b/c they have a rating from 1-5 of who has the best of which kind of troops. i'm still sticking with wookies b/c mr. gaber even said that they will be pretty cool to tinker with.
