That's not a question that can be answered in context to you. You have to play both and derive opinions of your own.

 

I preferred KotOR II.

KOTOR I: Fantastic story, good mods.

 

KOTOR II: Pretty good story, more features, better mods, very dark story, mountains of cut content (which are getting restored in two mods).

 

I liked KOTOR I more, but KOTOR II does come close.

ok, i have played them both, but im actually deciding which to replay, and your replys are helpfull. i was trying to see which/what had better mods and stuff. heres what i posted and what no one replied to (can you elaborate on the restored content emperor?):

Well, in that context I would say KotOR I right now, but KotOR II in a few months when the TSLRP comes out (that's just me though. I haven't played KotOR I in a long time. Both games are pretty much equal; see ED's post above).

If you're deciding which to play first, I would definitely choose KOTOR I. It is the first one in the trilogy. And despite what they say, KOTOR II will be more confusing if you haven't played KOTOR I. You should try your first playthrough without mods, though.

I know of a factory that was supposed to be on telos, and a planets, I'm not sure what else.

 

If you play through them quickly, I'd suggest playing KI first to get a better grasp of he story (never know what you might have missed;)) then play TSL,

but I'd try playing them both with a slightly different path then before, you might learn something you wouldn't get by doing it the same way.

i guess ill just play 1 first, then two haha. What mods do you guys think make the first a better experience? Anything and everything that makes it more fun i want. Ill just worry about the second ones mods later heh

achillie's force power extention mod, his calo nord inventory fix, a few more random things off his site just to make it interesting

 

svosh and chainz juhani sancuary clothing and dark robe

 

svosh's hv-88 pistols for mission, force gloves and sure shot gloves

 

redhawke's workbench into contruction bench

 

the final fantasy weapons (i NEED a pretty looking sword early on ^^)

 

and some random eyecandy is always needed
