It may not have been a case of whether they could do it or not, they just probably didn't due to time constraints. T7 fixed it here: http://www.pcgamemods.com/mod/16251.html Left a few other perks too. As for Malak's anims on the PC... Maybe... Soon. But if I had to guess, giving the PC Malak's anims would make the PC considerably larger. I haven't really looked into Malak's model much, but if he's on a separate skeleton, the PC would have to be enlarged to fit it.
