Right now, I'm glad Razputin isn't real, else he'd use his psychic powers to barbique me fore even suggesting it!

Yeah, Levitation would be very handy. And seeing what Raz's mind really looks like would be cool. I wanna see what happened when he first saw the Hand of Galochio...then again, I have my theories.

Well, I kind of have my theories about that Hand. Once I get my "Hand of Galochio" story up, you'll see what those theories are.

Now, if he's a room with a memory, I don't think he should be affected by the hand at all, sort of making himself like a ghost that can't be seen, heard or touched. (The ability to go through things on that part of the mind...sweetness.)

Speaking of Raz's mind...I wanna see what Raz looks like at about...oh, age 5?

Ohh, Klia. you clever snot ball. I would like a custom soundtrack and Raz to have the ability to turn into an ostrich with a straightjacket.

That made my day.

You know, they should have the ostrich in a straightjacket in the next game. What an omage to the pre-game!

Ostrich in a straightjacket, whats that all about? Could you like explain what you mean by that i'm kinda confused. I mean, come on whats that got to do with Raz let alone the game itself.

Galochio... how about in his mind, there is like a giant hand statue covered in tiny hands, and by psi-blasting each one you can be freed from the curse and swim and such and gain hydrokinesis...

Now that would just rock and roll.

I'll bet Razputin would be greatly RELIEVED if he could break the curse on him. Though even if he doesn't break the curse on him, learning Hydrokinesis would help him be able to fight against the Hand long enough to get the hell away from the water.

That idea does rock. Not only would Raz break the curse but he would get a new power to. Speaking of wich I think in the last game they didn't have enough powers, in the next game I hope they have like a psiwave blast or electrokenesis. That would own!!!!!

Clearly you are a n00b for not using the correct internet language, pwn.

New powers and FINALLY proving all our Sasha/Milla lovey dovey fanfictions correct would be dandy.

Aha I like some of the ideas posted, Ford's mind would be wonderful!

If it was set a few years later it'd be nice to go into some of the people's minds you couldn't go into before(Lili, other camp kids, etc.)

I think it would be nice if we needed to go into Sasha's mind again...But this time you'd see more. I was thinking about Sasha's second memory vault and it totally explains why you don't see anything about Milla. Think about it...When his mind went nuts I bet that was the FIRST thing he hid again...I mean he was pretty freaked when he saw that stuff about his mom, I bet his mind is very strict when a child is in there...

That would be cool, and of course some fun baddies. If they make it(oh the wonderful word if...) I would like more things you needed to do outside of someone's mind. Like in Milla's memories..The whole secret agent thing. :)

Oh! And as said before Raz would have to break the curse...Not sure how they would do that, either he'd have to go into the minds of the gypsies and fight 'em, or they'd make him go in there as a test(Why did they curse his family anyway? I think that's a major factor..)

Officially, I hear there was a rivalry between Razputin's family and the Galochio family, both of them circus families...hey, wait a second, Razputin is a gypsy himself? That thought just hit me on the forehead.

EDIT: Ack, if this appears as a double post, blame the boards.

well if someone with the last name of Schafer is reading this, I'll say some intelligent and thoughtful things now.

Firstly, Invader Zim was cancelled because Viacom's stock went down, so they cut the show since MONEY IS SO GOD DAMN IMPORTANT WE MUST HAVE MORE YES YES YES.

On that note, if Double Fine were to be commissioned to make an Invader Zim platformer, that would be awesome. How to translate the three-dimensional impossibilities from the show would be another matter.

As for the original topic, the idea of a Psychonauts sequel seems appealing, but think about it: the game is so rich in history, depth, characters that it seems fertile for a sequel, yet on the other hand the game itself is a complete work of art, a masterpiece in itself, so to make a sequel that could top the original would be a nearly impossible task. But then again, this whole thread is hypothetical. I'd be content if there was no Psychonauts sequel, because Double Fine would have made another amazing, original game instead for us to adore.

As for the worlds:

Inside the mind of a person struggling with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder would be interesting. Endless panels counting from one to four, a creepy crawly contamination that scratches its way through the person's imagination, having him obsessively clean over and over even though the OCD keeps making new germs. You try and shut doors but they keep opening by themselves, stovetops burn even though the power is off, and you have to reach the depths of the contamination zone to fight the OCD monster, a giant gelatinous filthy beast that makes this mind hell.

I also thought what the mind of someone who eats to feel better inside is like. Probably some bizarre landscape where magma that screams with anger and sorrow is drowned by big chunks of food that fall from the sky.

Doctor Loboto's mind would be fun to see, it could be like an old black-and-white scifi film like Frankenstein, with the monster being Loboto's id run amok.

imho Psychonauts was a masterpiece of a game. there can't really be a sequel (as a game) much like the Matrix was a masterpiece.. the movies that followed were lame.

i would like to see an animated series of it (Psychonauts) , that could truly work.

Ford's Mind. (like Basic Braining)

A Greece themed mind (like Black Velvetopia)

Psychonauts Headquarters (like Thorney Towers)

The Psitanium Jet (like Whispering Rock)

If it was on the 360, we could totally download new minds. We could get:

Whispering Rock Denzien Minds (Milka's would be total nothing. Just try to get through in one life.)

Raz's real mind (not just the caravan)

I vote we explore an insane conspiracy theo... no, wait.

Hmm. How about a person who's mind is overly, comically violent? Or a cyborg brain. That'd be interesting.

a cyborg brain would be pretty awsome. What if the cyborg brain was taking over the person so you would have to go in to the person's pyche and fight the cyborg part of the brain
