cockney gamer Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Was there a hint book ever realeased for curse of monkey island??? by this I dont mean the big strategy guides I mean the little thin hint books, I know they did them for the other three games but I never heard of one for Curse? Anyway if your bored then just post a reply.
Scummbuddy Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 a) I already commented on it before, but please stop posting subject titles and/or posts in all caps. b) there is a small hint guide for CMI that was given in the box, which was part of the users guide. I'll assume that when you said the big one, you meant the Prima Guide that you can get on amazon still. The small one in the box only got you as far as the demo does, so it's nothing really to pay big bucks for.
cockney gamer Posted December 14, 2005 Author Posted December 14, 2005 Thanks for the reply but Scummbuddy what is your problem with capitals, does it keep u awake at night when someone uses capitals?
Alien426 Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I've got a problem with that, too. It's not very readable and points to someone being lazy while we generally try to be as helpful and clear as possible. Maybe if someone doesn't put enough care into his questions, the answers won't be needed so badly?!
zag Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 i do remember a prima guide book when i was younger.. i suggest you use this:http://www.uhs-hints.com/uhsweb/monkey3.php
Udvarnoky Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 Even though the CMI hint book is under the name "strategy guide," from what I've seen of it it's very much in the same vein as the older LEC hint books (quick-path walkthrough, extensive walkthrough, hint section, memoirs of guybrush threepwood, and other assorted goodies). If you can find it at a decent price I recommend it.
