evenflow80 Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 What are they and what do they mean? For example: If one of the exlusive maps is, say, Kuat, does that mean the standard version doesn't have Kuat AT ALL or does that mean that it does but the CE version will have an extra skirmish map based on the Kuat tileset? EDIT: Wait... isn't the CE version DVD only? I checked some websites and it says CD-Rom.
Nakatomi2010 Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 I'm sure they're skirmish only maps, we wont see them in the single player campaign.... Hell, they might be based on planets that weren't put in the game... Or not... Point is I doubt it'd be present in the campaign...
wedge2211 Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 They are multiplayer skirmish maps. The campaign is the same in both editions. Five new playable Skirmish maps span the galaxy from the shipyards of Kuat to land and space battles on Ryloth and Polus From http://www.starwars.com/gaming/videogames/news/news20060119.html
popcorn2008 Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 The five skirmish maps included in the CE are the regular planets skirmish version. Though these planets are included in the regular, their skirmish versions aren't. Only a few planets are actually skirmish maps.
Thrawn Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 And as far as I know, the collector's edition is DVD.
