Because when he discovered his powers his father gave him more and more comlicated acrobats to do. Raz thought that was dislike, but his father just wanted him to get control over his body and mind thriugh that. He loves him -- look at the ending. You know, in the first reel of his memories; that guy in the cloak, the hat, and maybe a moustache? How did he know that Raz was psychic? Why did he pass him the brochure?
