Jeff Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I believe they have to do with a unit's position on the map.
FleetAdmiral AK Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Uh-oh no idea (then again I am from poland)
DonBilbo Posted February 17, 2006 Author Posted February 17, 2006 no, its said in the rating of eaw: Gameplay 8 Graphics 9 Sound 9 Value 9 Tilt 9 no idea?
Thrawn Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I'm guessing Value means will you get your money's worth. Tilt is the reviewers "bump" either for or against a title depending on their personal tastes. Where is this review from?
arkodeon Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 It's from Gamespot. If you ever get the chance to review a game for yourself on Gamespot, you will notice the "Reviewer's Tilt," which acts as a 'bias' so you may make the score on the game higher. If the number for the Tilt is similar to the overall Average, then the Average including the tilt will not significantly rise, such is the case here.
Tom Servo Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Value is the replayability of the game ie. how long will you play it and Tilt is the overall polish of the game ie. does it crash all the time, is the menu just Start and Exit buttons etc.
Slocket Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Value is replayability and your money's worth (how much gameplay for what you spent). Tilt is the the reviewer's subjective personal bias toward that game's genre and material. IE for Tilt: A person loves FPS shooters but hates Strategy games. He is probably going to review Halflife 2 with flying colors, but give 'Dawn of War' a more bad score.
