ThunderPeel2001
It's a ridiculous shame that Psychonauts didn't sell better in the US. Does anyone else think they really need to release a new demo to try and get people interested in it? The last demo was of the first level, which in my opinion is one of the most unenjoyable/average levels in the game. It's great and everything, but Goggalor was much better! I think a demo with snippets from three different minds could let new players appreciate just how diverse and interesting the levels actually are! Not sure who is releasing Pyschonauts in Europe, but I hope they're having the same idea right about now!
Smon
They just need to advertise better. Here I saw maybe two commercials. Sure G4 poured their heart and soul into PsychoNauts promotion. However nowhere else even touched it. Some gaming mags got ahold of the craze (I first heard about it from an ad that said "THIS GAME WILL BLOW YOUR MIND...OUT OF YOUR NOSE") but no T.V. ads other than a few G4 commercials. DarthAve
I say they use product placement on some crappy reality tv show. Like some dumbass on American Idol saying somthing like "OMGSH, I just won American Idol. I'm gonna go play Psychonauts so long I'll forget about my anerxria and my crappy dance moves! That game will freak your mind!!"
zelda 41
I read in EGM magizine, it got an award for, "Best Gme That No One Played". That burned me, so at school, I started a Psychonauts Fan Club at school. So far, only 5 members.
Jintor
I heard about it from PCPowerPlay (Australia). I was all 'meh'. Then a demo came out, and I was "Hmm, I wonder why they gave this 10/10?" The demo was a cut above most demoes, really. But a sampling from 3 different minds could've been cool.
